End of 2nd period:

BOS leads 2-0
CLB leads TB 2-1

If scores hold, BOS would be 1 point behind TB but would own the tiebreaker. As a result, tomorrow's games would be meaningful for playoff seeding although, I assume, all teams will be sitting key players.

NHL Challenge Rules As of the 2019-2020 season, the NHL allows coaches to have unlimited challenges. However, if a coach's challenge is unsuccessful, their team will receive a 2 minute minor penalty the first time, and every failed challenge after that will result in a 4 minute double minor penalty.

^^ huh,,, didn't know that...

what are we rooting for here? As much as I’d love to dunk on the Leafs again, it just feels like they are due to finally beat us and win a round and I absolutely do not want to hear about it as someone who lives in Canada. bruins can beat Carolina for sure.

Why not just call the Sabre for all that extra work that you allowed until the Bruins responded? I hate that type of reffing... and it always seems to work against the Bruins

Thanks. I was starting to wonder if a 3rd would be 6 minutes

4-1 Columbus.

BOS @ TOR tomorrow at 7pm
TB @ NYI tomorrow at 7:30pm

If BOS wins, TB needs a win (regular, OT or SO) to retain A3
If BOS ties, TB needs a win or tie during regular time (OT/SO result is irrelevant) to retain A3
If BOS loses, TB retains A3 and BOS will face CAR in the 1st round.

I can already hear LeafsNet proclaiming how this is destiny, that it has to be Boston to finally win the Cup they deserve, etc. etc. I think the Bruins could beat the Leafs; I also think the Lightning could skin them alive.

I'm already wincing at what the penalty ratio is going to be like with the Leafs having home ice.

"Come on guys" to Marchand and I think foligno trying to get Bergy to skate out for some recognition.
