It's a tough division to be a quarterback in this year with the Bills, Pats, and Fins all in the top 10 pass defense rankings out there (and Bills/Pats 1-2 in a lot).

Well, at least they have 2 games against the Jets ...

Read an article earlier that said if the Bills start to pull away in their game Sunday and the other games have gone "against" the Patriots they may bench some guys if they'd decide they'd rather play Cincy. Which would then possibly give them a matchup with Tennessee, which they may also prefer over KC.

I don't know--play and see what happens is my thoughts.

I think Bill will take the approach of worrying about themselves and making sure they go into the postseason playing good football. It's hard to adjust based on what the Bills are or aren't doing because it's at the same time.

That doesn't sound like a Bill Belichick move.

They need too much work as a team to take that approach.

Plus, what if they’re up a TD in the mid third quarter by the time the Bills pull away? Put Hoyer and other backups in and hope MIA outplays them enough to win?

It’s neither practical nor a good idea for this particular team.

Plus, if the Colts and Raiders win, they’re - assuming TEN beats HOU - playing at KC as the 7 seed. The Raiders play the night game, after all, so they can’t know mid game how that game will affect their seeding. No thanks.

Agreed, but we don't have a ton of experience seeing how he would handle the last week of the regular season without a playoff bye and nothing on the line. I don't think he'll care about the matchup as much (losing to force a particular wild card game), but without the possibility of a home playoff game I can see him pulling back a bit.

I think he’ll do what he thinks is best for the team.
But seriously, I think seeding won’t enter into his calculus at all. I think it will boil down to whether he thinks rest or reps is more important for various individuals. I think we see that he’s already opted for the former for Donte and Dugger. Might be the same for Harris.
But aside from individual decisions, I think his team strategy will be to win.
