Golf is pretty fun to watch. It’s got that ratcheting tension and slow burn like baseball.
Majors on Sunday is right up there with playoff hockey for me. It’s the individual nature of the sport that makes it so captivating.

Putting to win a close major has to be the most nerve wracking task in all sports.

I thought it was Dottie too. Funny story - I was walking the back at the Deutsche on a Friday a few years ago. It was pouring rain. Just buckets. Dottie was right in front of me on the other side of the ropes. I asked her how she liked the weather. She turns to me and says, “How the fuck you think I like it, you idiot?” She’s been my hero ever since.
Holy shit this is amazing.

So, who wins more majors between Rory, Spieth, and Brooks?
I would go with Brooks. I just have this feeling that you could see him with 3-4 more in the next 10 majors. I feel like Rory and Jordan will each get another 1 or 2, but Brooks could come close to double digits in his career.

I'd go with ending career totals
Brooks - 9
Rory - 6
Jordan - 5

Winning majors is really difficult.

Hard to pick anyone but Brooks, out of that list. It's kind of insane and incredible Rory hasn't won a major in 5 years.
I was trying to think of other people to include but they are the only ones who are young enough with multiple majors.

Rory is the most frustrating golfer to watch,.

I guess this is what happens, a guy goes on a historic run and then just hangs in there but doesn't have the same kind of run in the future. Spieth 2015-2017, Rory 2011-2014. Koepka, 2017-2019. But Koepka can pull a Tiger and keep the run going. He certainly has the game and the psyche, for it. Unlike Rory and Spieth, who both seem to get in their heads a lot.

I do not think Spieth will win more than 1 more major. I know he finished in 3rd this weekend, but his putting was otherworldly. He could have easily finished 40th. He had the most feet of putts hit in the entire field.

He just makes too many humongous mistakes. Rory does, too, actually.

So, who wins more majors between Rory, Spieth, and Brooks?
I think Brooks will win more majors because as they continue to lengthen the courses his combination of length and shot making abilities will only make him better. Spieth still has a ways to go to get back to his peak and Rory can't seem to put it together consistently enough.

I actually can't stand her but this story makes me like her more. That's fantastic.
