How can they not have camera angle that's definitive? Like a goal line camera.

Outfield umps in post season continue to be useless.

He really, really struggled early in the year, and his overall numbers look bad, but I think he was called up a little bit before he was ready. His quality at bats, along with his solid defense (eye test, haven't looked at the numbers), make him pretty close to must watch for me at this point. It's also the biggest reason I think Philly is not a likely destination for Xander, as some have speculated.
Gregorious hitting like Steve Jeltz this season probably forced their hand a bit.

For a second I thought Pena thought the ump was the 2nd baseman going toward the bag.

That Schwarber AB was nuts. How Montero didn’t bury one after Schwarber almost hit the previous one to El Paso is beyond me.

Why is Dusty doubling down on over-exerting whatever pitcher is in the game? They had most of a week off and a travel day tomorrow. I'm not sure why anyone wants him to win a World Series as manager, he's a bad in-game strategist who has done nothing to deserve one.

It looked like he really opened up the zone at the bottom for Pressly in the 9th, but that must have just been a disagreement between the TV strike zone and the one MLB uses.

Was just coming to post Hoberg's scorecard. I was impressed by him during the game, and that makes me even more impressed. Between this and the guy instantly calling out that Diaz had leaned into the pitch, the home plate umpires have been very good this series.

A PPD probably benefits Houston with their pitching depth and the loss of the travel day.

Edit. Nevermind, Manfred just said they would push Games 6 & 7 back.

Yeah it’s the opposite, I think a rainout would allow PHI to skip Syndergaard and just use their top 3 guys.

Would be shocked if they tried to get the game in ....too many rounds of rain likely via all available high res models.
