I still think Kate Upton could have done better.
I remember many years ago there was a thread on here ooogling her and the general consensus was “her body type wouldn’t hold up”. Id say so she’s doing alright. That was in the “Hotwife Allstars” era of SoSH.

Congrats to the Astros for no other reason than a team that can't even finish within 13 games of 2nd place in their division should never have the opportunity to win a World Series.

Happy for Dusty, 50 years in baseball, finally wins a title as a manager. 12 years with 90+ wins as a manger, he certainly deserved it.

Houston was just so good. I’ve never seen a team adjust so well as they play the same opponent. Kudos to them. Whatever their front office is doing is unbelievable.

Bregman broke his left index finger on that slide.

And Moldanado was playing with a broken hand and sports hernia that will need surgery.
Yeah after the slide Bregman was flexing the finger, like "I think it's broken but fuck with my adrenaline 3 outs away I can't feel the pain."

Not the best thread for this but - seems like Baker himself significantly contributed towards axing a Urquidy-Contreras trade, directly leading to Vazquez trade.

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/11/astros-owner-nixed-willson-contreras-deal-at-trade-deadline.html

"Much as I like Willson Contreras, Urquidy was one of our best pitchers then,” Baker said. “I needed a guy that wasn’t going to complain about not playing every day. And this is his [free agent] year. See, that’s tough. When you trade for a player in his [free agent] year. Everybody’s about numbers and stuff, and I can’t blame them, no doubt. But that’s not what we needed."
