No need to fret, people. Depressing about the Red Sox bullpen though with all these flamethrowing, yet accurate relievers the other teams all seem to have.

Also, I gotta say that watching playoff baseball and these teams’ bullpens is really making it clear to me just how awful the Red Sox pen was this year. Good god.

It’s the fourth least annoying Philly team but it’s still a Philly team. Plus the media will be awful if it’s Philly v NYY

Between the Phillies and the Padres, I think I'm gonna root for the Phillies, mostly because I absolutely can't stand Machado.

This really has been a shock. Just how bad was Bloom's evaluation of the bullpen?
Honestly wasn’t sure if you were being sarcastic at first, but I don’t think so. I mean, we shouldn’t be surprised after seeing them fuck up so consistently all season long, but the fact that we had basically no one who was a lock down reliever is crazy. We had guys who did good for stretches, but no one we could rely on for the entire year…

Yeah and I understand injuries played a role, but watching these games it's like holy shit. These teams are stacked with great arms and we were keeping our fingers crossed with Brasier all year?

I am very, very glad the Sox season is over. Here's hoping next year is better!

In the meantime, the Padres really need to find their offense or they're going to be in serious trouble. Truly do not know what to expect tonight, aside from the fact that shit is going to be crazy here in Philadelphia if the Phillies go up 2-0.
