City very very fortunate to secure the points at home against Swansea. Everton held, Palace win.

Next up: Manchester United fielding a laughable side (due to injury) at in-form Bournemouth.

Hell of a finish by Fellaini to level 1-1 in 25th minute. Bournemouth goal direct from a corner in 2nd. Both teams with chances, ManU dominating possession.

Impressed with Watford. Sitting at 7th after today's games. Strong at both ends. Staying up for sure.

Meanwhile, a familiar result lately for my Toffees. Dominate possession, lots of chances, can't quite find the goal they need, settle for one point when they should have had three. Kone and Lukaku looked clinical a few weeks ago, now they're juuuuust missing.

There was a great article earlier in the week about Migs- wish I could find it again. The argument is that he hasn't developed at all in two years. That's gotta point the finger at his coach as well.

Spurs controlling the game against an inferior team at home without creating a lot of clear-cut chances, now throwing away points due to a crap set piece goal. I've seen this script before.

At least you aren't behind due to 2 crap set piece goals.

Lukaku scored seven goals in six matches, but one game without scoring and he's "juuuuust missing" it.

I also blame Klopp. Fire him now.

Lukaku and Kone both Wondo'd very easy chances yesterday. Everton absolutely should have won.

Lukaku hit the woodwork twice last week - another draw that it should have won.

Everton's defending is more to blame for its relatively disappointing showing this year, and the attacking is generally very good, but I'll stand with what I said - the last two draws could/should have been wins if Kone (quiet since his hat trick a few weeks ago) and Lukaku had converted one of several chances.

I honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. In the interest of being clear, I'm referring to goalkeeper coach John Archterberg, the only member of Rodgers' staff still around. I'm not talking about the manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Pumas just scored their 3rd of the night in the 87th minute. Tigres won the first leg of the Liga MX final 3-0 but it's all even on aggregate now.

And now Pumas has a chance to win it, as the Tigres keeper barely gets a hand on a shot and it's sitting there waiting to be put in. The Tigres defender barely gets there to clear ahead of the attacker sliding in, and the attacker ends up picking up a red on the slide. Crazy game!

Tigres dominated the first period of extra time with the man advantage and took the lead. In the 116th Tigres had a man sent off to even things up 10 a side, and now in the 119th Pumas equalize again!

I wonder what Pedro is thinking. Could have stayed at Barca and gotten lots of playing time with Messi's injury. Instead, coming off the bench and freezing his ass off against Leicester City for a club just above the regulation zone.

For Arsenal fans this really is a quandary, give up first, and watch Mourinho suffer, or give him a brief reprieve.

Part of me was hoping to catch a top of the table clash next Monday, but fair play to Leicester. I will take Mourinho's continued suffering. Delicious suffering.

I couldn't be happier for Leicester City and their fans right now. Great win and their season has been awesome. They've been one of those teams that you watch out of the corner of your eye all season. Lots of fun.

What a season so far for Leicester. They might have the two top-performing players in the PL so far this year with Vardy and Mahrez - I can't think of anyone else (maybe Lukaku) who compares.

I'd pick Leicester winning today every single time. Six months from now, Leicester winning the title would make me just as happy (or almost just as happy) as Arsenal winning. For a team with the deck stacked so heavily against them to win against all odds - now that would be a story that would transcend football, to borrow John Henry's phrase.

Unfortunately, we've seen variations of this story before. To some extent, Everton was similar in 2013-14; last year, Southampton was top 4 for most of the first half of the year until they ran out of steam in the second half of the season. I'm hoping Leicester can avoid their fate. And if they can keep Chelsea or United out of the top 4 as well, that makes me even happier.

Özil?

Completely agree with the rest of this - Leicester winning the title would just be so good for English football. (UEFA coefficient be damned.) They're still 100-to-1 to win the title for me; they're playing with house money at the moment, and once the pressure starts to tell, they'll almost certainly wilt away out of the top four. But I hope they can hang on.
