Kluber seems like good move. Rays were in on him hard last season. They don’t need him to be a workhorse. Can try to limit pitches/innings and maybe squeeze some good performance out of him without him ending up on the shelf.

OK, so what is Raley's super elite skill that analytics picked up that the Rays will successfully leverage the shit out of?

That is what I expect.

3.27 FIP, 2.90 xFIP, 3.87 xERA...pretty much all the advanced metrics had Raley as an excellent reliever last year, and a pretty good one the year before. Nice deal, I don't see it as anything unusual outside of the fact that the Rays are spending more money than usual.
