Id say they got some dude from the stands, but well the stands are empty. Maybe one of the cardboard cutouts?

And when did Urshela become an MlB player?

The funny thing is that the loaded Yankees may not even have enough pitching even if Manfred's decision isn't made for him(it will be though).

Not exactly a competitive at bat for Mitchy, but I like 5-2 a lot more than 5-0!

Good work outfield defense! Zack the God got through 3 4 5 6. Give him one more turn on 7 8 9. Now we need RUNS

Eh, 1925 was worse.
Just to save others a bit of time: in 1925, the Sox finished last in the American League -- a _distant_ last, with a record of 47-105, 49 games back of the Senators for first, and 21 games (!) behind the seventh-place Yankees (so I guess the year wasn't a complete loss). The "pitching" staff gave up an average of 1.6 walks-plus-hits per inning, and 4.97 runs per nine innings. Among their hurlers were Ray Francis, who was allowed to stay on the mound for 28 innings despite an ERA of 7.71.

I'm almost positive that Mazza is the first stirrup wearer since Mike Benjamin. We've seen plenty of high socks but not stirrups.

It's too bad they don't have the classic striping anymore.

FOX's cameras are not in sync and it's very annoying. The camera looking at 1B is a split second behind the one behind the pitcher.
