He was part of some good Cavs teams with Price and Daugherty. They took out the Celts in the playoffs in Bird's final season of memory serves.

Hot Rod was part of a fascinating summer in Newport as part of the Rhode Island Gulls. Manute Bol was the 5, Hot Rod the 4, Martin Clark the kid from BC who tried beating up his coach on the sidelines of a game at the 3, and Spud Webb as the PG.

For Sox fans this tidbit you may not know.....his nephew is the infamous Toe Nash.

I loved that Cavs team. Price, Harper, Nance, Hot Rod and Daugherty with Ehlo coming off the bench. So athletic. Blocked so many shots. They gave the C's trouble in 85 when they were all kids, but that team ultimately fell victim to Jordan, famously on the "shot" over Ehlo and then a couple times more, including in the EC finals.

I forgot about Larry Nance. Man he was a pain in the ass. Reggie had his way with Ehlo more than a few times. That poor guy, abused by the 2 guards of the 90s.
