Kraft already responded "OK if we win the fans would love to welcome you to the 2017 opener"
That was so brilliantly played by Kraft.

If the Pats win, can you imagine Goodell there for the banner ceremony?!

Please pull this off, Pats!

Gotta love how they handled the whole thing with transparency from start to finish.

Like, correcting those false PSI numbers...or fighting for the release of the transcripts of the NFL-led investigations....or changing the wording from "more probable than not" to "actively participated in" the whole thing. This guy could shit a dead skunk and have it pass the smell test before I believe anything he says.

I'm just going to leave this here, for those asking about our friend Denny Chin from an SI.com article:

"Judges Barrington Parker, Jr. and Denny Chin reasoned that none of Brady’s arguments overcame the fact that his union provided Goodell with nearly unlimited authority under Article 46. Although influential groups and persons, including famed arbitrator Kenneth Feinberg, authored persuasive amicus briefs on Brady’s behalf, the balance of the Second Circuit’s active judges did not find sufficient reason to disturb Judges’ Parker and Chin’s decision."

Which is just amazing when Goodell answers TC's question with "Tom, if you look at the second circuit court, the decision they said is that they were compelling, if not overwhelming facts here and that is the point that I just made." No Roger. There were not. This was a procedural issue, plain and simple. The judges who actually looked at those overwhelming facts were the ones who said you were wrong.

Dear Roger,

You know you are always welcome here, and befitting your position we left two 50-yard line tickets for you at "will call".

Enjoy the game and remember we all are Patriots.

All the best,

Bob

Maine
F that.

I would rather Kraft conspicuously avoid ever having that c*ck sucker back.
"So all I need to do is invite him and he will come? Good to know."

Hopefully it would come up again and again "Well I would love to visit the Team and Fans of the NE Patriots but as of yet Mr. Kraft has not extended that invitation".
"No...I havent."

He should also invite EVERYONE else. Gary Bettman, Rob Manfred, The Commissioner of the Crystal Lake Softball Association, The President of the Greater Metropolitan Football booster club. Basically anyone else with a pulse.

I think that would be cooler then whatever joy the fan base would have with 2 hours of jeering.

No judges actually, or were supposed to, judge those facts. Berman was charged with deciding the same issues Chen and the Gang were. Whatever any of them thought about the evidence, it was to the same extent appropriate or not. The judge of the facts was, unfortunately, Goodell only.

Well yeah, they weren't supposed to. But I believe Berman did, indeed, look at the facts, which is why he tried to stop the Goodell ruling. And Chen noted, "“The evidence of ball tampering is compelling if not overwhelming.” So I'm leaning towards them looking at more than just whether Goodell had the right to do whatever he wanted, and in Chen's case using alternative facts, to base some of their decision.
