Round 1, Game 2 - Tuesday, 7 p.m., against the Hapless Hawks

How concerned am I about the second half swoon in Game 1? Exactly zero percent concerned. You try keeping up your intensity when you're winning by 30 points against a team you know you can impose your will upon at any moment. Yes, it's the playoffs. Yes, it's important to not let your guard down. But players are human beings and it was hard for the Celtics starters to respect the Hawks after that putrid first half they put up.

I expect more of the same in game 2. The Hawks just don't have anyone who can stay in front of Jaylen or Tatum and both of them can get to the rim at will, which makes for easy 3-pt kickouts, or, if the Hawks are going to be guarding those all series, easy layups.

Quinn Snyder is a good coach. The Hawks were ready for the way the Cs play. Unfortunately, they don't have the horses. Too bad.

Let's keep this train a rolling and let's keep the Garden rocking for another trip to Blowout City on Tuesday night.

To this day I can't think of the Hawks and not think about that doofus caught on camera in the 2008 series in one of the away games who had clearly just bought his jersey at the arena to squeeze it on awkwardly over his shirt and tie.

F the NBA and the stupid blackout rules
Should have access to game 3 ways but none work

have access to Sling that has it but blacked out
Have league pass but blacked out
Have access to NBATV via Comcast in Fl (so no NBCSB) but have to be using FL wifi to watch this live

guess it Grande for me

(the ESPN andTNT games all come in fine via the Comcast via Roku)

Sloppy start. Brown with two turnovers, Tatum with a lazy ass backcourt bounce pass that almost got picked.

Hopefully they have a switch tonight because I don’t like this one bit

3 offensive rebounds in 5 minutes, lot of bad decisions by Smart and Brown, just lazy.
This is sneakily this team's identity. They come out house on fire sometimes, but at any point that they think they've got an easy win they (Mostly Smart/Brown/Tatum) just completely stop doing all the smart, tough things and default to "well let me get some shots up on O, and no real need to work THAT hard on D...."

If the C's shoot 15% from 3, they're gong to struggle.

That's all this is, and it's really the only way they lose games with a healthy TL.
