Oh dude that was like the Gervonta Davis liver shot last night. That’s fucking dirty, but hopefully he’ll get his legs back. That’s just a shit place to get hit.

Always wondered why guys don’t have extra padding back there with all the cross checks that happen in front of the net when trying to establish position.

Florida were basically guaranteed to get power plays evened up as long as they didn’t go crazy far over the line. Really stupid decision there and going up 2-0 on it would feel pretty fuckin great.

I just caught tail end of the play. Was there no penalty for the punch in the back of his head?

I think you could make the argument they just went over the line.
Sorry, yeah I went back and changed the tense in that sentence as I realized it wasn’t clear. Meant to make the point that they just did the only thing (aside from a DoG) that would see them in the box next.

I actually think Nosek set the example for how to deal with Tkachuk. They have bigger aspirations than beating the Panthers and their $10 million backup goalie in the first round. For Florida, this may as well be their Stanley Cup Final.

Absolutely, deal with it next year. Hopefully that's the message in the room
