I think the one thing we know for sure is that we don't really know enough about what is going on here. But my guess is that they go forward doing two, slightly contradictory, things at once: they run the best roster out to win the game they're playing and they don't risk it with either of them, if they really see it as a risk.
Him not travelling at all was a real eye opener as to how much they want to rest him from whatever it is...
I'm on board with this. As nice as it would be, I don't want to see either of them until Round 2... unless it's game 7. I'd consider Krejci in a possible game 6 but I want Bergeron as healthy as possible going forward.
