This is fucking gross. Philadelphia isn't even a good team. If they play like this against Washington and Tampa it could be seriously ugly.

They've been awful for longer than this period. They sucked against Columbus and they are stinking up Toronto again today.
They were the better team for the first two periods...the puck did not bounce their way the first few times.

To bad that the NHL decided to erase the 11 point lead over the team they are playing for no reason

Let’s not go crazy. It’s their second game in 4.5 months.
True for all of the other teams too, though. So far, the only evidence is Columbus and Philly have an edge the Bruins absolutely do not. Outscored 7-2, so far, and playing from behind 100% of their competitions.

I thought they looked good in the 1st but couldn’t generate good chances off dominant possession. The final 25 mins have been bad though. Hopefully a little sharper on Wednesday.

The game thread pants wetting is back in Mid-season form.

They looked like dog shit, no doubt. Winning the Presidents trophy has at least given them ability to work some things out before the games truly count. They had a bumpy camp with 5-10 guys absent everyday. Rask came down sick today.

I saw nothing for Philadelphia to be upset about with Lauzon’s play against Raffl. 100% attributable to Scheifele play, methinks. Jeremy was simply executing a hockey stop while approaching the boards on a pinch. A successful pinch, it must be said.

A Flyers fan friend of mine went on quite the fb rant, whining about this “horrific uncalled slew foot”.

No, in fact that’s not the play to which he was referring.
