Son’s appeal was denied- his red stands.

This is an interesting case. Rudiger clearly simulated his reaction, but if he didn’t, does it even go to VAR?

Son didn’t hurt him, but is there any argument that his kick-out wasn’t violent conduct?

Everything worked out as it should, but I’d love to see a way for the game to be called correctly without a reaction like Rudiger’s.

Cue my Son rant. Why this knob gets any benefit of the doubt st this point is beyond me. If whether or not the target was injured is relevant then tell me how Gomes should have been overturned. At least nobody’s giving him the Nobel Peace Prize for this one yet. Fuck him.

I admit I had no idea about his general level of shithousery. He seems to be quite the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I'm just delighted for Brighton's two 5:30 a.m. (mountain time) kickoffs in the next three days. Interested to see how many regulars rest at Spurs to be better positioned for a more winnable three points at home against Bournemouth.

Maupay and Propper on the bench and Lewis Dunk not in the 18 for Brighton. 'Arry Kane had a goal taken away for breathing offside, and Brighton just turned a phantom tackle/yellow card into a goal off the free kick. 1-0.

The one thing I dont understand with all the Arsenal managers is how hard is it to ensure your best players are on the pitch? They’ve always got players like Lacazette and Pepe sitting and it makes no sense to me.

There are some (theoretically) high quality attackers there. Play them and figure the rest out. Arteta has been with Pep for how long and he doesn’t want to have Pepe holding width and receiving the ball in 1 v 1 situations?

Pepe has been dogshit this year and apparently doesn't do well in training.

He still couldnt be worse than Reiss Nelson. Project Youth 2.0 has been a blinding failure just like 1.0. All these kids stink.

Amazing individual effort by Jordan Ayew to put Palace (deservedly) on top 2-1 in the 90th minute. That came just after a goal saving block by Jairo Riedewald against noted jerkface Robert Snodgrass.

Carlo starts his Everton career with a weird 3-5-2-ish thing with RB Sidibe playing as a winger, and Holgate-Mina-Coleman as a back 3.

Looks like a genius as Sidibe puts in a cross for Calvert-Lewin, and Toffees beat Burnley, 1-0, as one does.

That was a well worked goal by Newcastle, but what was they celebration? Was Longstaff shooting up?

Psyched to see Keita and Gini in the midfield today. I was fearful that Klopp was going to go for his midfield binkie and put Milner in.

W I th the emergence of Keita, would JK take Henderson out when Fabinho is ready? That would be a rather formidable midfield.

The sequence near the end when Gomez pocked off the Maddison pass was absolutely sublime. They are full of confidence right now.

I feel like Maddison is either going to follow in the path of Deulofeu or Eriksen. He is immensely talented but not that bright. He prefers going to ground when possible. Deulofeu turned it around, but after some big clubs had given up on him. I hope Maddison can find his footing sooner.

“The ball only hit me in the arm when it was away from my body” is the only possible thing he may have been saying, right?
