Even Arouz couldn't get himself thrown out on that one.

My guess is well be reading about walden having surgery before too long. He's gone from ok to zero. 300 yrs in the minors, probably tried to suck it up.

Thanks. I was going to mention this, but wasn't in the mood to search for a link. I'm glad you did. Chavis gets a bad rap for PEDS, but not for his stone glove in the outfield. That's totally deserved.
Looking again, the sentence I wrote was a little convoluted.

But for people who couldn't read the article, basically, 20 something ballplayers tested positive over the last few years for this outlandishly obsolete PED. They all denied it. The tests hinged on a single metabolite, and it's really unclear where they would have gotten it or why they all would have chosen an easily-detectable drug.

The union is asking for the league to adjust the drug testing policy to set an allowable threshold for the drug.

So not only did vaughn eshelman die way too young, he's not even the only eshelman in the baseball encyclopedia any more.

Dalbec, Chavis and Thad Ward for Nolan Arenado, Devers to 1st

no but seriously, explore getting Arenado for cheap. He's fed up with Colorado FO/ownership, I would hope he'd be happy in a big market

of course it doesn't, hence the "but seriously".

JDM in the package? The other issue is Arenado's non-Coors numbers are mediocre. but at least the 3B defense would go up!

Good god, it's only the 8th. Some of the cardboard fans are leaving.
In what can only be described as torture, they're not allowed to leave.

(I walked by fenway last week and you could see them on the monster from across the Pike.)

As this totally fucked season in a totally fucked year nears its end, I would like to point out that Eck and Remy were an absolute fucking treat all season long. I've actually enjoyed baseball quite a bit.

Yes. I am not a Remy fan in the absence of Eck, but the three-man booth is pretty great.

Pretty much. Having twins with autism means that you don't go to many parties.
This really all comes back to you being no fun at parties. [/kidding]

edit: I was gonna go with "Tell me about it - try it with triplets!", but I'm way too classy for that kind of thing.

I think being in the studio really added to their comfort level. But yes, Eck and Remy need to go on tour with this. I'd pay top dollar.

The Rangers are in it to win it, three errors, two hits and losing 7-0
