Few days ago. My love for Judge couldn’t be contained to mere posts.
I envision a movie where a child writes a letter to his favorite athlete, who then invites the family to come for a visit ... only to turn out to be a complete psychopath.

The child or the athlete?
Hmmm ... I meant the athlete. But perhaps the athlete can indoctrinate the kid into a sort of cult of young fans who spread evil across the world

edit: They can be called Judgeheads

Maybe he can indoctrinate them to become his clones. You could call it, "You Be the Judge."

Cardinals clinch the NL Central with a win over Milwaukee now that St. Louis also holds the tiebreaker. Kind of a quirk where they clinched with one H2H win even though the magic number was 3.

St. Louis can't catch the Dodgers or NL East champs, so they'll be the 3 seed.

I’ve never seen anything like that. And he’s in his 8th mlb season and never had one called on him before. I’d be absolutely livid after the third one.

I'm guessing Showalter put the thought in that ump's head before the game, then started squawking from the dugout. That ump looked 12 years old

Despite another excellent start (6 IP, 1 ER), Cal Quantrill was in line for a loss when he exited tonight's game. However, the Guardians completed the most predictable comeback ever – Quantrill hasn't lost a game since July 5th and is 13-0 with a 2.91 ERA in his career at Progressive Field.

Now, let's see if any one of TB/SEA tries to tank to the 6 seed as opposed to the 5. On paper, CLE/NYY is a much easier path than WC team / Houston.

I think Toronto should end up with the 4 fairly easily.

I am so pumped for Matt Brash right now. He struggled out of the gate this year, but he was absolutely filthy in the top of 9th to get the win for the clincher.

Seattle went 6-1 vs Cleveland this season. They swept them in Cleveland at the beginning of the month.

Brewers bullpen blowing it again. If they lose I think that puts SD in the playoffs and the Phillies on the brink.

Mets/Braves game already awesome, three lead changes and we’re still in the third, 4-3 ATL.

The Mets have 8 hits off Charlie Morton in the first three innings and are somehow losing.
