I stopped it halfway through and made my own top 15 list to see how much it would match up with theirs, and I was ready to be disappointed that they'd miss some of my favorite moments.

I was wrong.

That is an amazing list, and I'm so happy they ranked the '02 Bears TD to Patten so highly, because that was one of the most clutch TD passes I've ever seen.  And I always forget how happy I was when Moss caught the winning TD against the Giants in the '07 regular season finale.  I just wish Randy could have gotten a ring.  Fuck.

I was in the stands in Miami for the Troy Brown OT catch.  It was about 95 degrees and we were drinking cheap draft all day--I almost passed out when I jumped up to cheer the play.  Surrounded by some seriously pissed off Dolphins fans, heh.   Olindo Mare slipped on the infield dirt on two separate field goal attempts (Marlins/Yanks WS game 1 was the next day I believe), hence the OT.

I'm gonna be the annoying school marm here, but it would be appreciated if all links had at least some explanation or description attached.

If nothing else, we want more people to enjoy the goodness that they might not click on if they don't know what it is.

Also: That applies to, like, everywhere on the site. And other sites for that matter too. It's just how you should do, really.

Honestly I almost did, but the link itself says Tom Brady's top 38 touchdowns from Patriots.com, thought it was self explanatory

Tremendous piece from Akeem Ayers in the Player's Tribune:

To get traded to New England was just unbelievable. I had heard about the culture of the team — the intense preparation and complete focus — but I didn’t really understand what that meant until the first week I was there. New England prepares with the expectation of winning. You go there as a player and you know the tradition they have, the players they have and the mindset they have. Anything other than winning is simply not an option. And I can see how they’ve maintained such success over a long period of time. When I arrived, I just had to follow everyone’s lead. The organization runs like a well-oiled machine.

Awesome article. Thanks for sharing it. Here's another great quote, but do yourself a favor and give the link a click:

When a team is in playoff mode, everyone is just so focused on doing their job. This was my first time playing on a seasoned playoff team, and you could sense the difference. Everyone is completely selfless, giving all they’ve got and doing everything they can to help the team get to the Super Bowl. That’s the only acceptable result. And that’s why the Patriots keep making it there.

Maybe someone could thumbtack on a Post-It note saying "Oh yeah, we participated in the AFC Championship Game too."

I think it would be funnier if they just raised the same banner as the Colts and put it next to the World Champ sign.

@Marc_Bertrand: I just watched the entire America's Game 2014 Patriots that will premiere next Tuesday on @nflnetwork. One word: Amazing

@Marc_Bertrand: But overall, it is the best recap I have seen of the 2014 season.

Can't fucking wait.

Hopefully, that ballbag Carlton from Norwell who carpet bombs EEI with his "culture of cheating" fucking nonsense will read it, not that it would sink into that cast iron head of his.

Stumbled upon this, many great photos from angles I hadn't seen before:
All those great photos of celebration from Patriots and despair from Seahawks and -- in the middle -- a pic of Goodell looking as though his valet is 3 minutes late with the car
