I'm really curious how much of the Carroll-BB difference was the result of editing.  As you said, BB was doing real, honest-to-God, coach-to-player coaching on the sidelines while Carroll was mostly cheerleading and talking into his headset.

Seriously. He was telling people that he wants to see some energy! He was one step away from grabbing pom-poms. He's been accused of that before, though, so is it really surprising? I'm sure he did some actual coaching but he does do the cheerleading stuff quite a bit.

Check out the one kid, about 10 or 12, right behind the couch. Seems to be the only Hawks fan there. Kid is in shock.

Sound FX and NFL Turning Point were both incredible, just awesome on a number of levels.

Brady saying to Josh "We did it Josh" as they hugged it out at the end of the game gets me every time.

There's a hidden passing-the-torch moment in that Brady/McDaniels hug.  I'm serious, but I can't seem to find a decent clip online with which to illustrate it.

That would make for a fun edit.  Maybe spliced with Marshawn's reaction to the disemboweling on Conan's show (Mortal Kombat with Gronk).

How out-of-date.  My Oberyn joke was much funnier.

FX makes Wilson out to be clueless in almost every sound byte... can't remember play names, thought Butler circled around (like he had time), etc. (Of course, Wilson also made Wilson appear clueless.)

Also, Edelman is more awesome than imaginable.
No kidding, aside from the terrible play he comes across as not nearly as sharp as I would have thought .

I'm really curious as to whether that headset is actually working or is just a prop.

On one segment, he runs halfway down the sidelines then says something like "I cramped up on that run."

He really needs to stop talking about the play and go off to an island somewhere for awhile, that Today Show interview was painful.

Belichick was on Dave's show after one of the earlier Super Bowl wins - he was pretty good.

They are perfect for each other - old, cranky, frequently misinterpreted masters of their craft. I couldn't see BB on Conan or Kimmel or Fallon.

It depends how you take that and who's editing.

I love how BB comes off compared to Carroll and I'd assume most people do. So now, do you think the NFL would edit something to show BB in a *better* light? Or is it simply that that is what the majority of it is?

Can't believe Edelman didn't say anything to Sherman at the end of the game. After the Pats were down 10 and Brady took a sack, Sherman told Edelman, "Ya'll weak. We eat y'all!" All Edelman said was, "man, you talk a lot", which is great in its simpleness.

On the Inside the NFL one, there is a great clip of Edleman getting tackled by 4 SEA players, and all you can hear is "Woooo. I love getting hit" from the pile.

He's insane.  And he's ours.

If anyone comes across any downloadable links (including Youtube or DailyMotion) and/or torrents for the Super Bowl editions of Sound FX and Turning Point, I (and countless others, I'm sure) would be very much obliged.

When they show Pete's reaction to the INT and he goes "Oh, no!" he sounds exactly like my niece when she peed herself right after getting out of diapers.

To me it sounded like the guy in the WTC who was on the phone with 911 on 9/11 just as the tower started falling.

The end zone shot is kind of cool, but it still goes back to the ...what sort of douches have to have their phone out during about the most exciting moment in recent sports history? (and then film themselves). I hate generational commentary, but....

Thanks for posting, but too many people sitting down. I hate Super Bowl/World Series crowds.

Depends on where you were sitting. The only time you could sit without missing action in our section was in between plays. I had to stand for every single down to see it. My sister was in a different section where no one stood and half the row in front of her didn't even show up for the game.

I'm uploading the Sound FX one from Daily Motion to Vimeo now.

Should be available in about 15.

Sounds about right. When I realized Kearse caught the ball it was like seeing the 2nd plane hit.

You can download it from below as well. If the DOWNLOAD option isn't there you may need an account, but I don't think you do...

Let me know if you have any issues.

There's also a lot of great stuff in the SoundFX videos (the first six videos here):

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx

Some of the content is the same as what's in the Inside the NFL show, but there's a lot of new stuff too. Can anyone figure out how to save these too?

I stood the whole game too. I was surprised how good the atmosphere was considering the prices. Though admittedly, much of that was due to the large number of Seattle fans and that most neutrals seemed to hate the Pats.

Pete Carroll in the first video that loads, the Seahawks final drive, says (paraphrasing) "2 minutes to go, 3 TOs, need a TD to win, been doing this all year".

Well, not really Pete. Three times in the regular season Seattle took over with little time on the clock (3 minutes), needing a TD to win, and they never scored.

Game #2 against SD: down 27-21, takes over with 3 minutes left, 4 plays, turnover on downs--0 for 1
Game #5 against Dal: down 27-21, takes over with 3 minutes left, 4 plays, turnover on downs--0 for 2
Game #10 against KC: down 24-20, takes over with 2:47 left, gains 15 yards on 7 plays, turnover on downs--0 for 3

That is balanced somewhat by the Packers game, but they had not been doing it all season.

In his career, trailing with under 4 minutes to go, Wilson's QB rating is 67.9, trailing with under 2 minutes to go it is 74.5.

So what should he say, "2 minutes to go, 3 TOs, need a TD to win, never done it before, but hey no pressure!"

On those 3 drives, Russell Wilson was 5 of 13 for 33 yards and a sack with 23 of the yards coming on one play.

Yeah, totally outnumbered. But at least in our section, the Seattle fans "Twelves" all stuck around to see the confetti and streamers after they announced the final score. That felt good:
