One thing that also stood out for me in that initial tweet was that the season opener would be April 6.  It was March 31 this season.  Did MLB reduce the season from 162 to 154?  If not, how are they gonna manage that week delay?

This regular season ends on 9/28, which is early.  Season usually starts on the first Monday in April, or 3/3, if that's a Monday

Well, last year's ALDS G1 was on Oct. 4, five days after the final reg. season game.  The unnecessary WS G7 was scheduled for Halloween.  So, if they don't shorten the time between next year's regular season and the postseason, we're potentially looking at a Oct. 9 ALDS G1 and WS G7 on Nov. 5.

You and me both on Milwaukee.  I almost got out there in 2003 to see some games, but something came up and I figured no big deal, they'll be there again at some point.  Hasn't happened yet.  They've played just that 1 series in Milwaukee since the Brewers moved to the NL in 1998.

That's amazing. I am pretty sure there have been 6-8 weekend package April games every season for the last 25 years.

That's my package. In 2013 there were seven April games. In 2014, six. In 2015, THREE. Woo hoo!!!!

Bash '15 was going to be in May or June because I have to sit on a Grand Jury in MA in July. I was totally bummed. Lo and behold, I remembered this morning that we intend to become Florida residents this fall. Once that task is accomplished, I can request a disqualification from MA. I'll no longer be a Massachusetts resident.
 
Bash will be June 6, June 13 or July 25.

Very disappointed that the Red Sox aren't playing at Natstown. That would have been a good road trip. 
 
My reaction to interleague visits to NY and Atlanta? Meh. Been there done that.
