People complaining about flags must never watch the NFL. This is a pretty standard game. Not saying it's great or anything, but this is how A LOT of games develop.

Well, Matthew Stafford was a lot better than I thought he was. Congrats to the Rams, I guess? Felt like a blah super bowl to me although that’s kind of how I always feel when the Pats aren’t in it.

Guys the Bengals got 7 points on one of the worst uncalled OPIs of all time, it's not like they didnt also benefit from awful officiating

Re: Collinsworth, it has nothing to do with the Pats. It was a great drive but best ever? There have been a number of great drives in NFL history, maybe pump the brakes a little bit.

And again I like Al and Chris but that was a bit much.

I know it’s been said forever but Donald is so good. An absolute a hole on the field but man
Yep. It was awesome and fitting for him to basically win the game single handedly at the end. Stop third down short, basically a sack on fourth.

Top 5 defensive player of all time, I think.

The team that the least amount of people in the world give a fuck about was helped to a win just because they were in their "home" stadium

What a joke of a league.

People are upset because the last two minutes were called differently than the rest of the game

But you're right that's how some games go

What a great game just torpedoed by those flags. Wanted to see Stafford get a ring, and Donald was incredible, but that's gotta be one of the worst calls in league history.
Wasn't even the worst call of the game, which gifted Cincy 7 points

He said Stafford had nobody to throw the ball to…except the best WR in football?

Sucks to see an LA-based, kroenke owned team win it all.

Terrible sports town and an even worse owner

Agreed.

There will be a lot of focus on the bad call on 3rd and Goal, but they had Burrow and 2 TOs. That should have been a title winning drive. They also had a chance to ice the game in the prior drive and recorded 1 first down. Burrow was sacked 7 times.

Smart call to run right at him. That last series was almost as stupid as Mcvay’s 3rd and 4th quarter calls.
They moved him around enough to keep it tricky. He was on different sides on third and fourth.

I don't know why teams are always bad or stupid around here (I mean maybe I do know). But these are the best two teams in the league. They beat all other comers. Is everyone in the league a moron or something?

This

Rams we’re close and good odds to score anyway. That Cincy bomb was 100% gift TD

I still haven't seen a good replay, but it looked like Perine could have caught that 4th down heave with a little effort.

Also, that Donald tackle on third down was one of the best clutch tackles I have EVER seen.

Yeah I guess that's fair. And again I did want the Rams. But that goalline sequence really sucked the fun right out of what should have been an incredible ending.

Do you really think that this was a conspiracy or that the crowd was influenced by the non-partisan crowd?

They're filling airtime. Everything has to be the best ever in the moment.

It’s hard for me to be too upset at the call given the Bengals were gifted a TD on the no call on the face mask but that’s a brutal way to lose
Agreed...just because the calls evened out late in the game it doesn't change the fact that missed face mask call led directly to a TD. At least the Rams still had to score on their own.

Bengals lost two possessions in this game, including the critical one, running Samaje Perine on 3rd and 1. The rigidity with which coaches pull their best players off the field because you have to use the passing down back, even when your starter can catch, is just ridiculous. If it’s James White then sure, go nuts. Samaje Perine!

But it kind of wasn't. They pretty much let them play until the last couple of minutes. Should have kept doing that.

The Giants drive in SB XXV is the greatest drive in SB history. It took 9:29 off the clock; involved 3 third and long conversions, including Mark Ingram's amazing third and 13 pass reception in which he broke four tackles, and ended in a TD.

You need a FG with a kid who is nails. Dumb. Dumb dumb. And when McVay finally decided to go to maybe the best receiver in football they click.
McVay is overrated. Taylor or his offensive coordinator screwed up that last drive.

This game was somehow kind of boring.
Couldn’t agree more. The game had zero flow and poor execution all around. When one team literally can’t run the ball and the other is getting sacked continuously and can’t sustain drives. Snooze fest.
