So Sherman plays a side, maybe this came up in other discussion with the Pats; is that a CB choice or coaching choice? Does it provide some sort of advantage? Eg, Peyton knows Sherman is always on the Right, so his eyes always can focus left and / or call primary routes to left.

Some guys aren't comfortable playing both sides.

It's just the type of defense they play. Sherman always plays on one side. That was why he was so angry about Kaepernicky throwing at him.

I like that Seattle isn't going totally conservative here. One of the ways you blow games like this is by running into the line three times and punting.
