absolutely incredible match by Nadal for Slam #19. Medvedev gave the crowd their money's worth and then some. A worthy opponent for a worthy final, even if it's not the final everyone wanted. Nadal, for once, looks just as worn out as his opponent at the end of a lengthy 5-setter. Only person I've ever seen that be the case for is Djokovic.
I've generally rooted for Federer when they go head-to-head, but super happy to see Nadal come away with this one. Just because he's the greatest clay-court player of all time doesn't mean he's just some clay-court specialist, and I love to see him prove it.
