Thank you for 2007

Thank you for 2013

and thank you for kicking lymphoma's ass, just like the Rockies and Cardinals and 27 other teams, and inspiring others, young and old, to do the same.

Thank you, Jon. Best of luck.

Best of luck Jon. It's been a pleasure watching you pitch. Go kick some more ass in the NL.

Nothing but the best of luck to Lester. I hope he does make history in Chicago.

Thank you for bringing a tear to my eye in 2007 when the whole team had to come and tear you off that mound in Game 4.
Thank you for doing it again last year when you jumped out of nowhere to brohug John Lackey.
Thank you for doing it yet again now as I type this.
Nothing but the best of luck for you in the NL.

I too am glad he is not a Yankee, but do we have any reason to believe they even made him an offer?
I would like to see the Cubs win a WS & this signing gives them a chance. Goodbye & good
luck!

Honestly, I initially had to resist the urge to go down the irrational path of "Fuck you, you're dead to me." with my reaction to Lester going to Chicago but feeling that way just wouldn't haven been fair.

Jon Lester is one of the best pitchers in the history of this storied team we all love so much and I'm thankful towards him for everything he accomplished as a member of the Red Sox.

I'll always remember and look fondly on everything he did in a Sox uniform and as much as it might pain me to see him wearing another team's jersey, I wish him all the success in the world in Chicago.

Thanks for everything, Jon, and good luck.
