Good call, they just showed it.Immediately thought of Pujols v Lidge in ‘04 at this very park.

His inner Craig Breslow certainly wont be enough.Fried needs to channel his inner Koufax.
I think it's harder to rack up a huge number if you don't hit it to center field or close to it. That's why you never see a 500-foot blast down the line. Can't believe that was only projected to be 446 feet!
I didn’t know this, but read an article from 2005 when the league forced the Astros to open it and people in the organization were complaining saying it was just about blimps. But I have no ideaQuestion: I learned that MLB can order the roof open for certain games. As the Sox don't have a dome I wonder can they do that in the regular season? Is it for blimp, helicopter access? Does anyone have information on this?
I always thought it was the opposite and that they were always pulled. This means the battery is ahead of the ball and thus his swing has been going longer enabling more time to accelerate the bat speed.I think it's harder to rack up a huge number if you don't hit it to center field or close to it. he had 27 in regular seasonLOL
Things are going poorly when Swanson is hitting rockets out of the park.
I was about to ask what the baseball equivalent would beWe are firmly in 28-3 range now...and I'm ready to be hurt again, baby.
Up 3 games to none in the ALCSI was about to ask what the baseball equivalent would be
Correct. This is teetering on ‘miraculous comeback needed’ territory, but, alas, there is no clock to protect a lead.KEEP POUNDING
Nah no team could ever choke away that kind of a lead, it’s just not possible. They’d have to choke worse than any choker that ever choked a choke.Up 3 games to none in the ALCS
Thanks, it was Richard Justice who said this on the Tony Kornheiser show. He also didn't elaborate.I didn’t know this, but read an article from 2005 when the league forced the Astros to open it and people in the organization were complaining saying it was just about blimps. But I have no idea
Wait - you're right. I think what I had in my head was that most no-doubters in the power alleys tend to get disappointing distance because the power alleys are so short that a home run 80 feet past the fence is still only 440-460 feet. But yes - you are correct.I always thought it was the opposite and that they were always pulled. This means the battery is ahead of the ball and thus his swing has been going longer enabling more time to accelerate the bat speed.
Ted's Home Run, Mantle's shot, Manny's Coke bottle or SkyDome shots were all pulled.
I so wished foThr no home wins for these two fanbases. This could be close enough.Go Visitors!!!!!
Send them home sad.
That low strike to Bregman evens things out nicely, though.A foot off the plate!
