Lillard is fun to watch. The three he just hit with the 3rd quarter clock running down was impressive.

The second one of the game. If Lillard played in a larger market, he would be a much bigger star. The guy is a fantastic player and appears to be considered one of the best teammates/leaders in the NBA.

The other part of this game is that OKC is the PNW's largest homebuilder right now. They are shooting 41.4% from the field and 17.4% from three tonight.

From Marcus Thompson (GS beat reporter): "OKC is now 10-for-63 from 3 so far in this series (15.9 percent). Wow.

I still dont trust this Blazers team at all. I expect a 2-2 series going back to Portland

This would be imo the most likely scenario with OKC at home as a 7-point+ favorite in each of the next two unless Lillard/McCollum perform outrageous acts again. This series seems destined for a G7.

I watched Lilliard's pre-game shooting before their game in Boston last month, and the guy didn't miss more than a couple of shots. I was extremely impressed how he conducted himself the entire session, and the rest of the team, for that matter.

They might not have as much top end talent as some of the top contenders in the West, but Portland is a well run outfit with a lot of serious, determined players. The only guy I wasn't impressed with was Collins.

Collins is that guy for me who whenever I watch a Blazer game he's either making a boneheaded play with the ball, missing a defensive assignment, making a dumb foul, and just overall sucking. He has a good NBA body and good mechanics from 3 even though the results aren't yet there (32% first two years) so he still has a chance to develop but In G1 he was far and away the worst player on the floor as he couldn't defend anyone without fouling and was lost offensively. Last night he was a little better but still not up to the speed of the NBA game and certainly not a player that his coaches trust on the floor when the games matter. He's had 5 TO's and 6 PF's in 28 minutes...….and for all you +/- believers out there is a -16 as his team has won the two games by a combined 25 points.

You're welcome by the way. Thanks to the clipps, all these teams will be playing balls to wall until the end.

Table Setting for tonight.

After allowing the Pacers to hang around in the first half Boston showed its superiority led by a stifling defense swallowing up a Pacer offense who doesn’t have anywhere to go for scoring. I don’t expect much to change tonight with another physical low possession game.

Bos 94
Indy 79

Bucks came out super focused to start their mission getting high quality shots whenever they wanted and the Pistons struggled badly without the offense running through Blake. Even if Griffin plays he isn’t 100% and the Bucks pace is simply too much for Detroit.

Milw 118
Det 95

Similar to last night we expect two predictable results (although Den/SA played out different than expected) and one intriguing game. Tonight’s game of the night is Utah making their defensive adjustments against Harden which is usually a good spot however not sure if they have the personnel to pull it off without Dante Exum who was greatly missed vs Harden in G1.....surprised people aren’t talking more about this.. We think they compete but in the end it’s too many Rockets firing at them.

Can we just skip to the conference finals so I can watch Houston-Golden State.
We're in the same bracket as them so it's going to be in the 2nd round. I honestly would rather play them in the 2nd round than in the conference finals - especially now with Cousins out - less chance of CP3 hurting himself before the series starts.

Good news for you - they will play next round
I wouldn’t sleep on these Clippers. This Warrior team is a mental shell of the team that won the championship and have appeared vulnerable all season......quitting when up 31 at home isn’t doing anything to eliminate these doubts I have about this team.

I actually went back and watched the comeback again and they certainly didn’t quit. Curry got his 4th foul early in the 3rd and sat for the rest of the quarter, and Beverley was being super physical yet the refs kept calling touch fouls on Durant (four offensive fouls in the second half!). The Clippers are a good comeback team because Williams and Harrell come off the bench, but I still think GS wins this in 5 or maybe 6.

That being said, they have reminded me for a while of the last Shaq/Kobe team (2004?), who looked dominant until all of a sudden they didn’t.

It would not surprise me at all to go back to Oakland 2-2 and I expect two dogfights in LA. These Warriors aren’t a focused group......something is missing with this team. They did quit, they stopped playing once the lead was cut to 17. Kerr said this himself in the presser.

I wouldn't be shocked if this series goes 6. I agree GS seems to lack focus and that may be the difference between a title and going home in round 2 or 3. All the teams in the Western Conference Playoffs are really good teams and if you don't show up to play, you're gonna lose. I wouldn't be shocked if any of them beat Boston or Philly in a 7 game series. I still can't see LA beating GS 4 times though.

If someone does eliminate GS, that gives a ton of teams a legit shot at a ring. I don't think there is a clear cut #2, though the Bucks may change that.

Embiid OUT for tonight's game (left knee soreness)
Oh man. Things might get very real for Philly very fast. Although I'm going to go on record that I think Simmons is going to look good tonight as a result, even if Embiid out is worse for the team overall.

Embiid is such a clown. Mock someone for a nasty elbow to the face, then sit out with a nagging injury.

It turns out that Greg Monroe at center + no perimeter defenders = layup line for Russell. He's missing them, but Allen is completely dominating the offensive glass.

He really does talk a lot of shit for a guy who appears to be made out of glass.
He is the exact guy that is loved by everyone if he is on your team, yet hated by most everyone else. I am in the minority though - he is perhaps a top 5 must see for me. Harden is also on that list though :)

I love watching the 76ers play without Embiid. Not for more than one game but they are so much more active and versatile. Ben is free to go down low. Butler plays more point. Fun to watch.
And Boban is effective tonight down low.

Seeing the full Ben Simmons package tonight, including his D. Just rejected a Lavert trey late in quarter.

Man, not sure what's going on in Atkinson's head. No Dinwiddie or LaVert, leaving the starters in to get pummeled. They'll be lucky if Lavert plays 25 minutes.
