OK, clearly this will NEVER happen but it’s fun to discuss.

The Miami game has NO bearing on seeding if Pats win in Pittsburgh and split the final two home games.

It’s a Monday night game against a chippy defense, and a short week before going to Pittsburgh.

Keep Brady home, it makes too much sense not to.

Popvich?

But no. Check your math. Could lose without Brady, then that "split". Steelers win out.

If the Pats win in Pittsburgh and split the final two games, they'll have 3 losses ... unless, of course, a Brady-Gronk-less team loses in Miami ... so they'd have 4 losses. Which kind of means it will have bearing

Can we send them to Miami if Pittsburgh loses on Monday?

The 2 seed isn’t locked up at this point and they’d rather be sitting week 17 than this week. Go to play and win.

Gronk won’t be there anyway, though.

Yeah, um, no. It is not even fun to discuss, because it has a 0.01% chance of happening, barring injury (biting my tongue).

Belichick sends Brady out when up by 20 with less than 6 minutes left.

That notion that he would sit him for a game when playoff seeding is uncertain is ludicrous.

Shouldn't this thread be in P&G? I assume it was created for the lulz, poor attempt at that.
