Folk

Pats lose for sure if the Bucs had a decent kicker.

Here
Haters gonna hate, but Gilmore shadowed Mike Evans and I’m not sure I heard Gilmore’s name called once outside of Nantz mistaking him for Hightower on a blown tackle.

Big win. Get some rest and get better and come out in ten days and kick some ass.

Game Ball #1 : Nick Folk
Game Ball #2: TB OC (first 58:50) for not using martin more
Game Ball #3: Jameis Winston (first 58:50) for being horrible on 3rd down

Game Ball #4: Ghost, for being the better kicker
Game Ball #5: Amendola (other white receivers were good too, Hogan and James)
Game Ball #6: Adam Butler and Malcom Brown, DT's
Game Ball #7: JonJones, for the final breakup and good st play and Nate Ebner for the onside recovery

Should have won by 20, easily, if the OL showed up.

All 3 safeties were fairly good too
RB's were good

Amendola, Chung and Ghost. Hard to imagine where this team would be if they hadn't resigned #80. And there wee stories that that might have happened.
Nobody else can play the Edelman role effectively. We really have to keep #80 healthy.

Pats were very lucky to get out of there with a win. A decent kicker and the Bucs come out on top, and we have to read a bunch about the dynasty is over, etc.. Thank you so much to Dola, Ghost, and Chung for preventing the ESPN apocalypse.

Chung had at least 3 big pass break ups.

Edit - 2 PBU anyway. This was tweeted sometime in the second half:

I couldn't watch the game due to work. What was Chung doing that earned him so much love? My app, Score, only shows him with 3 tackles and nothing else special.
He had two very good pass breakups in one on one coverage against Cameron Brate; I think they were both on third down as well. Overall it was a much better game from the secondary.

He had a couple of key passes knocked down. Note that he has 3 'PDs' in the box score, along with his tackles, while Butler had 1 and Gilmore 0. He did fine in coverage.

Ghost obviously. Looks really solid and confident, which is important given how much he gets in his own head when things trend the other way.

(Quick kicker note: Could we maybe try to NOT be so simplistic about Folk's misses? The game plays out differently, ditto for play calling by the Pats, if he makes any of those. Butterfly effect counts.)

McCourty seemed to be in on a lot of plays tonight, and not just bad ones this week! Definitely showed some fired up leadership, too. Keep it up, overpaid nice man.

Dion/Gilly - both showed burst, dynamism and toughness between the tackles, and neither fumbled. I'd like to see what they can do behind a line that isn't S H I T. Need to see a LOT more of D-Lew.

HoganDola - solid route running, great hands, big plays. Bravo. Bless you.

Brady - never, ever stops. I'll forgive that horrendous INT, and blame the OL for the fumble. Cool?

Gilmore on Evans - nicely done, maybe wrap up when tackling, but yeah, an impressive job against a superior WR. Meanwhile, maybe his teammates can shut the F up, getting on media members who had the temerity to criticize him for being LEGITIMATELY AWFUL. I appreciate the circling of wagons and sticking up for teammates, but the idea that tonight retroactively constitutes an "I told you so" moment for Gilmore is a fucking joke. He was crap. Tonight he wasn't crap. Probably nodding humbly and quietly bucking him up is a better idea.

Flowers. He's kind of our only friend on defense through the first five games. Good job, kid.

Edit: some mess-ups.
