Dare to dream but it looks like the Sox have a good chance to wrap this thing up at the Toilet on Yom Kippur. Talk about atonement!

Theo, let's grow the excellent seed you've planted regarding clinching on Yom Kippur. The Red Sox need to bring back onto their roster Ray Culp to pitch that game, even though he's over 75 years old by now.
Why don't you CALL, we NEED RAY to do the job for us!

The wrong side of the bridge....
I'd love for them to wrap it up at home, but that seems unlikely, since it's asking a lot to do it before the Yankee series, but things would have to go a bit squirrelly for it not to happen before the end of the following Cleveland series.

So Yom Kippur in the Bronx it is!

So on 9/11 the magic number moved from 11 to 9, you cannot make this stuff up...
That's awesome and I'm stealing it.

On a personal note, last night's win also means they could reach win #100 on my 40th birthday. So I really hope to see a bunch of Yaz pictures in this thread tonight (and dare I hope maybe some Trot Nixon and JD Drew?).

Sorry, BS, no Ray Culp pull here. Now if you had asked for Sonny Seibert....
