And let's face it, it does help to pass the time.
But folks, as a favor to me, don't argue that the Sox should be trading everyone and then complain about the performance of those who are left. Yes, Barnes can be annoying, and as a general rule, Workman is less agitating to watch. But It is What It is. The team, I mean.

Here's to another few hours in which we can pretend that our dreams can true. Or something like that.

it is the mlb.tv free game of the day. Colton Brewer is on the mound and his ERA is 3.50. That is pretty good. And the Blue Jays pitcher is 'TBD'. When the Red Sox have started 'TBD' this year it has gone terribly. Hope the Red Sox can tee off on 'TBD'.

Plenty of precipitation in the Buffalo forecast over the next 36 hours including heavy rain and thunderstorms starting at 6 p.m. tonight. Might be a challenge for #Bluejays and Red Sox to get in one, let alone two, at Sahlen Field.
Imagine if someone told you last year that a virus would cause rain outs for the Blue Jays at home in 2020.

Weei reporting no one on the field 40 mins before first pitch. Implication is that tonight's game being played is uncertain.

I was about to come here and say will this be played? I imagine JBJ, who's been outspoken about these issues, would not want to.

6 miles from Angel Stadium
I'm enjoying the highway signs and traffic in the background. Oddly less sterile looking than MLB parks.
It looks like a fun place to see a ballgame. Kind of reminds me of the old Big A with the freeway in the background.
For the first time baseball sadness struck me last night. I was watching the Dodgers /Giants games from SF. That magnificent stadium with all those empty seats. This is the first year of my retirement and I definitely planned on heading up there for a few games this year, among other parks. I wonder when we be able to see a live game again.

I saw the Pawtucket Red Sox play a couple of games at this park. Nice and spacious. And not far from the Anchor Bar.

not being able to go to games hurts.

Molten Mitch Moreland murders mediocre man's meatball!

(Clearly not fast enough. I bow before the master)

in the past couple of seasons there's been some pathetic pitching to scrubs. Rowdy Tellez is at the top 3 of this list.
