This is the funniest conspiracy kookoo ever

Yes, that guy is the real star of the thread. He's really on to the NFL! My personal favorite part is that he concludes that Reid's timeouts at the end of the first half were proof that he was clearly in on the conspiracy to give Brady more time to get down the field and score.

Sounds pretty Deep State-y. Whoever was saying that Deflategate presaged a lot of the QAnon type craziness was probably onto something.

I just spent some time going through some days those threads and there’s a big ole overlap in the Venn diagram of Q and those people posting.

Catch-all thread for all Brady-related crying from other fanbases/players/media talking heads. I'll start by posting this Chief's Planet thread. Wade in carefully...

Edit: Actually this thread might be better:

This is SO FUN to read. I love how they say that the NFL has been pumping Brady and orchestrating it all for him to win.

And then they mention the "cheating scandals" without connecting the dots...I mean, if the NFL is all in on orchestrating things for Brady, why did they suspend him and fine him and take away draft picks over something that never in the history of the league had been an issue before (and which didn't actually happen regardless)? I mean, the NFL has come down pretty hard on Brady and his team for the dumbest of things, but sure, whine that the league is all about doing everything it can to get Brady SB titles.

That thread is hilarious.

This is pretty funny, but I can't bring myself to wander into the cesspool. I'll say this though -- on at least three calls I thought the flag came out pretty fast for the Super Bowl where they tend to not let teams get big chunks of yardage on flags. I also yelled internally about one offensive line holding call on the Chiefs: "where was that call during the Scottish game!"

Losing teams in football always complain about the refs and the reality is that it is pretty easy for them to always have evidence on their side. The story last night though was much more mundane -- the Chiefs played a kind of sloppy football game on defense and they got really tagged for it a few times.

The league that went to ridiculous lengths to "prove" that Brady deflated footballs and suspended him for four games because of it is also instructing referees to call a game in his favor so he can win his 7th Super Bowl? And has been doing this since he came in the league because they wanted a star like Michael Jordan? Totally logical that they would rig games in his favor and not the #1 overall pick who came in the league just about the same time. You know, the guy who caused the league to change the rules around how you could defend wide receivers because he couldn't beat the Patriots in the playoffs.

Stupid tears are delicious.

It's hard to blame the refs when you lose by 23 points...Honestly, the Chiefs fans should be happy, these games are much easier to get over than close games where the NFL changes what a catch is without telling anyone, or the refs invent a penatly called face gaurding, or allow massive holds to prevent a QB in the grasp from being sack.

See it will be much easier to get over, also damn I am bitter and I am sure you could do the same for the Pats so it does tend to even out.

I love that a SB-winning, 20-something, QB *dating models* is something the NFL must have sat down and come up with in a smoke-filled, secret, backroom.

Do we have any bitterness from Chris Jones or Tyrann Mathieu? Those definitely seem like "the better team lost" kind of guys.

I mean...Brady probably DID say something pretty bad. I hope Mathieu isn't insinuating that Brady used the N word or anything like that. (and I certainly hope Brady didn't....I doubt he did because we'd have heard about that already)

I'm sure Brady can trash talk with the best of them, but it is pretty hard for me to believe he'd use the N word. If that word is in his vocabulary it seems like we would have heard accusations of him using it at some point in the last 20 or so years.

He probably called him a motherfucker and Matthieu was like "He said I fucked my mother!" before realizing how stupid that sounds.

He probably called him a ‘motherfucker’ or something, and you would think if he actually called Mathieu something ‘vile and insensitive’ he would have reacted more aggressively in the moment.

Why delete the tweet if there is something to see here?

My guess would be MF or something starting with a C is what Brady called him.

Even better, the franchise that the NFL planned to elevate to God-like status was... the New England Patriots. A franchise that had a 40 year history of managerial ineptitude, played in a dump of a stadium, and was located in literally the only region of the country that hadn't adopted football as it's #1 sport. Sheer brilliance, really.

I like that the argument for Chiefs fans has been that the refs made calls early, which put KC in a hole that forced them to change the way they played. Like, the unstoppable offense that can score at any time got behind by 10 in the second quarter and suddenly they had no chance at coming back playing their normal, unstoppable brand of offense.

Amusing is the national media's attempt to reclaim some glory for Mahomes by saying how he threw the two greatest incompletions in SB history.
Terrific plays, but, well,...they were incompletes.

Meh, it's still the Brady 70 yard bomb to Moss that was an inch away from a game winning TD in the final seconds of the game.

Edit: probably not a TD, but at the very least would set up the game tying FG.

Also maybe since I did not see it live I don't get it, but the throw he made horizontal to the ground was into triple coverage, so it should stop being celebrated.

The guy is a great talent but he has a lot of Farve in him.

On the first interception Romo actually said "It was a great throw from Mahomes, there was just a guy who happened to be in coverage" as if a defender being there was complete coincidence and Mahomes had no control over throwing a pass where a defender was. He threw a desperate heave into double coverage that led to an interception, there was nothing "great" about it.

When 25% of the pregame coverage is pumping up (and I quote) "The best there ever was against the best right now" and then "the best right now" lays an egg, you have to start trying to save face.

I get being upset about the refs. I mean, I'm still upset about some of the non-calls from the loss to the Foles Eagles, but I wouldn't put last night's game in the top five worst officiated super bowls. Does anyone remember that game the Steelers won?

As I said to someone else, while some of the calls were ticky-tack, the Chiefs have made holding receivers on every play a fundamental plank of their defensive game plan while daring refs to call them all, so sorry if I don't feel bad if the officials did call some during the biggest game of the year.

The Chiefs scored 9 points.

If this game was decided by a TD, or hell even 9 points, I could maybe muster up some sympathy. But...31-9. No points in the 4th Quarter.

Give me a break.

And it was like 6 inches from being 38-9. It was an absolute beatdown.
