Figured it would be nice to track injuries and injury related news in one place throughout the season, whether it be for general or fantasy use.  Some big injuries already hitting today, particularly on defense.  Haven't got any official links to put up, but here's some of what I remember from watching the games today:

Derrick Johnson, LB Chiefs, reportedly ruptured an Achilles which would likely mean he's done for the season.
Jadaveon Clowney left with a knee injury.  I've heard everything from a torn meniscus to an MCL sprain.  Whatever it is, sounds like he'll miss at least a couple of weeks.

Logan Mankins, watched him leave with a knee injury early in the TB game.

Doug Martin, not sure what he hurt, but he was in and out of the game, and then finally, just out in the fourth.

I know there's more, but Denver game just started so I can't concentrate.

Forgot to mention the gruesome elbow injury suffered by Bengals TE, Tyler Eifert.  Not sure he makes it back this season from that.

Evan Mathis, Pro Bowl guard for Philly likely out for 4-8 weeks with a sprained MCL, as well as backup RT (who was starting in place of suspended Lane Johnson) Allen Barbre, who will be out for awhile with a high ankle sprain.

Looks like they'll be scouring the streets for OL bodies.

You mean Chip had good luck with injuries last year and he doesn't have a perfect injury prevention system? Amazing.

Speaking of Mathises, it appears Robert Mathis has a torn achilles. I'm looking for a link now, but I have a football friend who is Corsi-like on the Twitter, and I don't have an account.

Karma for his BS tear-jerker story about PEDs.

Edit - Ha!

Any updates on game time decisions, put them here.  Doug Martin, Jordan Cameron, Alshon Jeffery, etc.  Lots of them that I can't seem to find any news on.

Ryan Matthews out 4-5 weeks with sprained MCL.

Can't post a link, but AJ Green should only miss one game due to the toe injury, and is expected to be back after the bye in week 4 to play against the Pats in week 5, according to NFL.com.

Vernon Davis left last night's game with an ankle injury, but no word on the severity yet.

Allen Hurns day to day with ankle injury.

DeAngelo Williams also day to day right now after missing week 2 with a thigh injury.

Jamal Charles has high ankle sprain.  Week 3 is up in the air and no timetable at all right now, but those things can suck the life out of a season.

Carson Palmer expected to miss next week, and then be back after the bye in week 5.

Doug Martin expected to be ready to play on Thursday night, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sat him for one more game after Rainey played well on Sunday.

According to ESPN.com, Eric Decker's hamstring injury is more serious than the one he had in preseason, but no official word yet.

Dee "Best CB in Football" Milliner also re-aggreviated the high-ankle sprain, taking himself out of the game.

in all fairness he's been taking his team out of games for a while so it was probably just force of habit.

Good job by the training staff in not identifying the injury as an ACL tear and allowing him to return to the game. This is inexcusable.

Dennis Pitta reportedly dislocated the same hip he did in training camp last year.

I am really happy that Dennis Pitta was able to capture $16 million guaranteed on his recent contract. He wasn't touched on the play but went down like he was felled by a hunting rifle.

I'll wait for our DRS to insert "necrosis " here, but I'm afraid he is done for good. Very solid player and good guy.

AJ Green was just carted off at practice for the same toe that caused him to sit out a few weeks back. Apparently he couldn't put any weight on it at all.

Anybody have a GIF of the Bears guy that hurt himself against the Pats after the meaningless sack against Jimmy G.?  I just want to compare it to Tulloch from the Lions earlier in this thread, and see if they were both doing the same sack dance.

Haha, I love it.  I honestly didn't know that they were doing essentially the exact same dance when they got hurt.  IMO, that makes it so much more awesome.  Almost Jets-like.
