Lester, Lackey, Peavy and Doubie are gone.

So this is the current rotation:

Buchholz
Workman
RDLR
TBD (PawSox callup)
Joe Kelly

So, um, yeah.

Do I have this rotation correct and has a team gone from winning the WS to trading 4 of their WS run starters in 9 months?

Isn't DelaRosa on some sort of innings limit?  Can we expect to see Ranaudo up sometime soon?

Hope Ranaudo gets a few starts down the stretch.  Last 10 starts:

60.1 IP, 1.94 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 46/17 K/BB, .185 opponent's average

I'll add him.

Buccholz
Workman
Webster
RDLR
Kelly
Ranaudo
Wright

Let's go with a 7 man rotation!

Tomorrow, most likely.  He's scheduled to pitch for Pawtucket, which was supposedly just a "coincidence".

Still some hours to go before the deadline.

I'm guessing it's audition time from here until October. Clay will get his work in, Kelly will probably make all of his starts if he's healthy so the Sox can get a better read on him for 2015, and the remaining three spots will feature RDLR until he needs to be moved to the pen to limit his innings, Webster, Ranaudo and Wright.

For 2015 I expect they'll sign someone (I've made the case for Shields in a few threads now) and go with that free agent, Buchholz, Kelly and two of the kids. That's a pretty solid rotation depending on who they sign.

A 2015 lineup of JBJ/Pedroia/Ortiz/Napoli/Cespedes/Craig/Betts/Bogaerts/WMB is, uh, crazy good.

Potentially.

Add in Allen Craig's potential and it's potentially crazier goodier.

And missing a catcher.

Edit: oh wait, is that where you penciled in Napoli?

Not here
I don't get how you can have Cespedes, Napoli, Craig, and Ortiz all in the lineup at the same time. Seems to me they need to rotate among left, first, and DH.

Cespedes can play RF this year.   Cross the 2015 bridge when we get there.

When I said in the game thread last night that by this time tomorrow Clay could be our ace, I was only joking Ben
