If he is close to as athletic as he was a couple years ago and can keep his act together, Larry Sanders would be an absolutely perfect fit for this team.

Can Sanders rebound that well? I always thought of him as little more than rim protection. Horford could use some help protecting the rim, only Bradley and Rozier seem to have prowess on the boards. The team as a whole needs Yabusele 2019 or Zizic 2020.

Next they should workout Andrew Bynum. At one time Sanders looked like a potential All-Star but that was years ago, I wouldn't want him near my contending team unless I was desperate. The Celtics have enormous they tradable assets that if they were really desperate for a rebounder they can do a lot better than Sanders.

Maybe?
His one full healthy season (4 years ago) he was 11th in the league in TRB%, 14th in DRB%, 16th in ORB%.
The next two seasons he took a significant step back (though his 16.2 TRB% in those years is still much better than any Celtic this year.

Sanders to me is a flyer. He hasn't played in any league for 2 years, he's going to take time to get into game shape, learn the system etc. He could maybe be a 10 minute a night bench big by playoff time but I don't put much stock in him being an impact player this year for anyone.

The Cs should be looking at this guy for sure. If he is even remotely effective he will be an upgrade in an area of need. As LTP its really a low risk move.
