Living in SD I (obviously) usually only get the Chargers games on TV... I've watched that happen at least twice this year already.

*edit

It's not that rare to see INTs on a comeback drive, but I feel like they're usually desperation heaves down the field... with Rivers he just throws 12 yard passes into triple coverage.

Yeah, looks like SD didn't actually have a timeout, it was a graphic mistake.

Edit- actually looks like it was the NFL's stat feed since ESPN, and NFL.com both listed them as having a timeout, when they'd already called 3.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see Romo tonight. Cowboys would be on full choke alert if they lose tonight with regards to the division.

There's no way, barring an injury, they put in Romo.
Although I hope Dallas loses, it'll look better for Brady's MVP chances.

Stadium scoreboard showed a timeout, and we all thought they had one. It was.... weird.

Of course every Charger fan was leaving and the remaining 50K people in the Q were going nuts, so perhaps McCoy just said fuck it. Really, really happy silver & black vibe in San Diego tonight.

Cowboys would only have to play one more game outdoor the rest of the season. At Detroit, home field in the playoffs, and the Super Bowl is in Houston.

Pretty big that a rookie QB won't have to play in cold, outdoor conditions in any meaningful games.

Why aren't they on the bus? Also who takes off their pads then puts back on their filthy uniforms?
So many questions.

Was it a bad call? Did the ref have some kind of grudge against the family?

Would they have driven past the stranded referee if they were driving a Ford? Did the Toyota make them stop?

Did the ref not have a cell phone to call a tow truck?

Was the kid unsure of whether to move over, having already opened the door, thereby requiring his father's instruction?

Why did the ref leave his car's hood propped open in the pouring rain?

Had the kid's coach or QB blamed the refs in his postgame press conference?

Not so fast, my friend.
