Between here and everywhere.
Game time is 7:00PM tonight.

I'd love to hear some "Thank You, Seguin" chants tonight when Loui scores 7 goals and beats up Jamie Benn.

Seriously - this is a big test for the defense, and for Tuukka. Need a big game out of both.

Pastrnak not skating this morning. Koko up.

Marchand - Bergeron - Connolly
Eriksson - Krejci - Khoklachev
Beleskey - Spooner - Hayes
Kelly - Kemppainen - Shithead

Dallas lost to the Leafs last night. Let's take advantage of the schedule here and jump on them early.

Pastrnak only played 7:41 on Saturday....I only saw highlights, did he get hurt? I just had assumed the ice time was Julien shortening the bench in a close and late situation.

Julien was less than happy with his effort earlier in the season, perhaps it's related to that?

Koko's been lighting it up in Provy and has, of course, been unhappy with being down there.  So, perhaps this is a punish an underperformer, reward a performer kind of move.  Of course, Koko isn't a winger, so positionally, the swap doesn't make sense.

Koko has played wing down in Providence this year. I assumed the call up was a reward for sucking it up and playing well for Providence.

Julien says Pastrnak not 100% recovered from the shot block in the Arizona game. Giving him a few days to rest and get back to 100%.

Dallas got washed by the Leafs last night. They'll either be out for redemption or so depressed that they'll be easy pick'ins.

Also, they cost me a $44 parlay.

Bruins are rolling... on the road. Let's turn it around at home and beat this stupid faced team.

I like being wrong about everything.  Every day's an adventure.

Can I get a ruling on something?

I got chastised for calling someone a twat in another forum on here, because it was a derogatory term derived from a woman's body part (I disagree, but whatever).

Can I call someone here a boob? Technically men have boobs too. I just don't want to ruffle the feathers of the PC crowd here, and I'd really like to call someone a boob.

Call people whatever you want, who cares what other people think.

They're all dicks anyway!

I'm completely jaded from growing up on the internet that pretty much anything said doesn't phase me anymore.  Back when multiplayer gaming started to get big (and before any good-manners controls) it wasn't uncommon to have a string of racial/sexual epithets, body parts, and other slurs yelled at me by some anonymous sore loser who was hoping one of them would hit.  I see any of those things and just tune it out, because that's all it is: senseless noise that I can get nothing from by listening.    That being said, since I pretty much hit every check box on the "not getting discriminated against" list other than being an agnostic, I really haven't encountered anything like that, and none of them have the emotional background it would to someone like my wife (black, female, grew up really poor).

That being said, I don't think I've ever come across any of that here.  Given that like 1/20 words in a gamethread is fuck or shit or some derivation thereof, I don't think anyone should expect to come here and be filthy-language free.  If someone went on a huge rant against someone personally, used slurs to do so, and was really actually trying to hurt them, then I'd totally be ok with a temporary/permanent ban from the gamethreads.  That being said, occasionally calling someone a twat does not mean that you hate women or wish ill of them.  Its a British colloquialism too.

Basically, just don't be a dick.

I was taught twats are only bad if they were stinky. Tell them they smell bad?

Pastrnak had been pretty much invisible so far. 2G 2A -3. And the next puck he wins along the boards will be the first. Maybe watching for a while will do him good.

You hear twat more from Brits, so if you can do the accent, go for it.

This is going to hurt more than most of you want to admit.  He's been a quality 3rd liner this year and has huge PK responsibilities.

Something gave way during normal skating motion and he became unable to put any weight on it and dropped.  No obvious contact or cause.

Connolly and Hayes have been outstanding forecheckers this year, and it has led to multiple multiple-shift offensive zone possessions.

So in other words, a normal Tuesday night.

Benn holding Chara back behind the play surely had nothing to do with that.

Sucks to see Kelly go down like that. Talbot for Kelly is probably close to a wash though in the grand scheme of things.

Miller!

I love how happy Miller is.

Veritas, I'm pretty sure you were just on the Jumbotron.
