Just now at the game each of the bases got switched out (between the bottom of the 4th and top of the 5th).

I have never seen this happen in-game before and have no idea why they did it.

Anyone have any idea? And new threads are good for business so post baseball things you've never seen before...

The insult to injury there is that Odor smacks Joey Bats on the head with his glove on the way down.
It's why baseball needs enforcers. Stick a fighter who can't play defense or hit at third base. All on field cheap shots will end. And occasionally when the other team's fighter makes it to third, they would be required to circle and jab for a minute, then grab each other and fall down. It works for hockey.......

I guess that would have made Jim Rice the baseball version of Cam Neely: HOFer for offense, but HOF-level enforcer as well.

Almost all members of this group have likely seen it before, but I would be curious to know if anyone at SoSH hasn't seen the initials of Mr. & Mrs. Yawkey on the scoreboard? I routinely tell people about it at games, people who've been coming for years, and I routinely get people who never knew.

We had the perfect man for this strategy until he went down with an injury too. ;)
