Yeah, but if he doesn't have another 3-4 pairs "game-ready" then that's sort of a dereliction of duty to be prepared. Didn't Ray Bourque rotate through 6-7 pairs of gloves in each game?

Im sure if that had happened in the first quarter against the Seahawks last year he would have found another pair of shoes to go out there with. This was in the final minutes of a regular season blowout.

Hopefully the #1 seed will be wrapped up before then and Edelman can play a couple early series with Brady to work on live action timing before they both hit the bench for the rest of the game.
