I hate these posts that in effect say, "well the officiating was shit, but Michigan should have made fewer mistakes so tough luck."

Fuuuuuck that. Ohio state has had plenty of breaks. We should expect officials, especially in big games, to show up and do their fucking jobs. This crew failed to do that, and any big ten fan would tell you that's all too common.

Meh. The spot was wrong, but almost impossible to reverse on replay. If they called it short, they would have kept it short, too. It's the downside of the replay system.

I can also understand how the ref gave the original spot that he did. It was a weird tackle.

Here
I honestly think the spot was good. While there's no real way to tell without some sorr of chip technology, it appeared to me live and on every replay that the ball crossed the 15, even if his feet didn't.

New to the thread? I know how to do the dale carnegie thing, but it's not exactly how this thread is wired.

So stop being so stupid! ;)
I'm not really cut out for game threads. It was the try not to be so fucking stupid that got me. Apologies. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Never the less, I must say that I never really mind an outcome that results in a Harbaugh crying. So even though I don't have an allegiance with tOSU, this was kind of a fun game to watch.

I know you're an Ohio st fan or alum but I'm assuming you're nonetheless smart given your sosh membership...so maybe you need to pull your head out of your ass. The officiating was so lopsided:

- 7 penalties and 59 yards to 2 and 6
- missed hold on samuels wild run
- missed PI on first quarter when mich receiver was mugged
- PI called for osu when ball was gone and ten feet over wr's head
- missed PI on perry in ot

And you're dead fucking wrong about no one agreeing with me on the spot. There's literally a headline on CBS sports: "Michigan has legit beef with controversial spot on Ohio State's 4th-down conversion"

I know it's good to be a buckeye for the last several years but don't let it go to your head. Try not to be so fucking stupid.
Literally none of the calls you cite were at all clear cut, and most were pure bullshit.

As far as the spot, the linesman was about 10 feet away right on the fucking line. The nose of the ball clearly made the 15, but if you were drunk enough to perceive that your camera angle said otherwise, recognize that two refs had good angles on the spot and there was no debate between them.

Jesus Christ. Biggest bitches in college football.

It's beyond laughable to think those refs weren't going to give tOSU the first down there at the 15; if they overturned that call, none of them would have made it out of the stadium alive, just like the refs who allowed the Franco Harris reception when it clearly bounced off one of the Steelers and they all knew it, aka the famous immaculate reception.

Fact is the Michigan player had him dead to rights, instead of taking out his knees, if he wraps him up, he tackles him short of the first down.

The whole college football world thought tOSU would blow Michigan out of the stadium; for most of the game, they got their asses handed to them, their kicker sucked, yet they pulled the game out of their collective asses thanks to two fucking God awful passes that got picked off. That boneheaded hands to the face penalty by the Michigan offensive lineman was a killer, wiped out a huge gain on that play.

Good for tOSU, I hate that school with the fire of 10,000 suns, I hope they get to the championship game so Alabama can curb stomp them and their douchebag "I'm leaving coaching to spend more time with my family and watch my daughters grow up, then come out of the ground when tOSU drops a dump truck full of money on my front lawn" coach.
For folks looking to save time, "Waaaaahhhh."

Harbaugh is an odd guy, but I don't get the hate.

Take this for a spin.

I can't wait until Alabama curb stomps you guys, and I have Alabama. Ohio St has such a horseshoe up its ass, today's game being another example.
Ohio State lost a perfect season to sanctions and has lost three conference games the last four years with only one title to show for it. Like the Patriots, when you're really fucking good every year sometimes you'll catch breaks to put you over the top and sometimes you won't. Did they have a horseshoe up their ass when they won the conference title and playoff games by 88 points?

This is a good point about the sanctions. I love that they have that moot perfect season....bc Terrell Pryor needed tats. I need to remember that more when I'm down.

Not hate. Don't care that much. Lack of respect is closer. It started with his brother, but they both do it. Neither one of them can just own up and admit they got beat. It's called grace. Can't be bought, or taught, apparently. They make schadenfreude fun.

I get that but he's not a cheater (as far as we know), keeps the kids in line, and if he was your guy, you'd love him. I hope harbaugh never leaves Michigan but if he does, I'd take him as the heir to BB in a heartbeat

And it helped Michigan get Kyle Kalis, the biggest loser in the history of this game!

Yeah. The win was deserved. You guys fucked up repeatedly even when you were crowing. If one of the best kickers in college football hadn't missed two chip shots then there would have been a lot less drama.

Your team sucks and your coach won't like all of the "harbaugh needs to take responsibility for his shit performance." Feedback that will come out in the next few weeks. He's having dinner with Irsay after UM gets whooped in its bowl.

I will be honest, I had a slight rooting interest in UM but I bet on OSU (teased them with the over) so I think I'm close to neutral? I thought the only bad call was on the PI against UM that led to the FG. Don't think it was catchable. But the no PI Call that UM didn't get seemed like it could go either way, and the fourth down spot was about as close as they can get (think it was the right call tho). Refs may have missed a hold on that wacky third down call too... overall I think it's not as bad as some wolverine fans are claiming but on balance OSU was the beneficiary.

Take that with a grain of salt.

Thanks for your input; your contributions on this forum are stellar.

Reminds me of a chimp act I saw at the zoo.
There are no "acts" at a zoo. What you saw was a chimp in captivity masturbating. I would be surprised if you can get your money back from the guy you paid because you liked it so much.

Ohio State has a three-point road loss to Penn State with a dominant road win over Oklahoma, a road win over Wisconsin and a win over Michigan. Who besides Alabama can beat that even in a best-case scenario?
If Wisconsin wins next week, probably no one.

If Penn State wins next week, I think one-loss tOSU finishes behind two-loss conference champion PSU that beat tOSU head-to-head, and I don't see the Committee pushing out a one-loss conference champion like Clemson or Washington to make room for one-loss non-champion tOSU.

As a UM fan, you must go to that well often then.

Do you know how silly this looks on a site where the common ground is that we all revel in the mfys setbacks, a team that had won a shit ton of championships. The Wolverines, right now, are basically the '03 sox

Yeah, if a majority of the '03 Sox were up for free agency. Michigan had a perfect storm of an experience advantage this year. Ohio State is going to be loaded next year. You've seen what a loaded Ohio State team looks like, right?

Harbaugh has yet to use a qb he recruited. Team he took over was awful - far far cry from the tat-lovers Meyers inherited post pretend heart attack. It's amazing where harbaugh has Michigan now.

Mind you, I expect osu to be perpetually awesome...but Michigan will be good enough to win a few.

Meyer took over the worst team in Ohio State history, buddy. He's proceeded to lose two fewer regular season games in five years than Harbaugh has in two.

He had plenty of talent - fickell was a shitty coach

Furthermore, the league was different then. Michigan and penn state, to name two, are much improved

Honestly, you're an idiot. What Meyer took over is nothing compared to what Harbaugh took over in terms of needing to restock the cupboard and reverse a program in downslide.

Maybe once Harbaugh's teams stop shitting the bed in these games and he actually coaches in a CFP or national championship game I will believe he is on the same level as Meyer. But right now it is like Rex vs. BB or something. Fake punt included.

People act like harbaugh's been there for years. Guy took over a sub-500 team after two failed coaches. It's amazing mich is where it is already.

And he proceeded to go undefeated in his first two regular seasons. Harbaugh has five losses.

Pretty much this to a T. Have hated him since he was at Stanford. He's very, very easy to hate.

Edit: The trolling in this thread is grade A, entertaining stuff.

Yeah well, Brady hoke was a super nice guy and a terrible football coach. You think urban Meyer is a great guy? Saban? Belichick?

Grow up

Spend a lot of time at the zoo I see.

Makes perfect sense; like animals in captivity, you've got a great ability to fling shit in all directions.

You give Eagles fans everywhere a bad name and considering what a collective pack of assholes they are, that's a monumental fucking achievement on your part.

Saban - multiple titles
Meyer - multiple titles
Belichick - multiple titles
Harbaugh - ??
When he wins multiple titles then he can act however he wants and no fucks will be given. Until then his act is as much of a joke as Rex's
