I know I'm not going out on a limb but I'd expect both home teams to just overpower the opposition.

For United, Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera out hurts. I'll predict the lineup as DDG-Young-Smalling-Lindelof-Dalot-Mctominay-Fred-Pogba-Lingard-Rashford-Martial
That makes sense, but MANU would be well served by having someone who can hold play in the MF. I am no fan of Mata's game, but I think he would be a useful piece at some point today. I think you are correct and have to go after Barca with speed, so bringing Lukaku on later is a better plan. Looking at United's squad, it's just astounding that Sanchez is so MIA. A threatening winger allowing Rashford to push inside would create a lot of problems for Barca, especially in behind Alba.

Barca lose out on a penalty claim after VAR confirms Fred got the ball before he got the man. United look 10x as threatening in the second leg as they did in the first.

edit: Messi dances through two guys and it's 1-0.

Watching the United defenders slowly sort of but not really close out Messi was agonizing. So much space in such a dangerous area, tempted fate and fate won

Rooting against Juve but how are there only 2 min added here? Also looked to be a penalty given the standards this tournament

We’re pretty much guaranteed to have 4 attacking aggressive skillful teams in the semis. No bad matchups, but I hope the 2 epl clubs don’t get matched.

The semi-final draw is already made. Ajax plays City/Spurs, Liverpool/Porto play Barca

We (Juventus fans) are spoiled rotten with the streak going in the league. That’s become totally secondary to Europe in most fans’ heads. The CL showing has been consistently good as well, but we can’t seem to get over the hump.

This has been one of their most underwhelming sides in years while becoming less likable. Dybala was a kid you love to root for, but he’s evaporated. My feelings on Ronaldo are well documented. Bonucci was brought back to help unlock static, deep defenses, but I can’t believe how much he’s regressed in his primary duties. Kean feels like the only bright spot right now.

Bah. Without Buffon, it hurts less. I guess.

Someday.

Second half from Ajax was amazing. Winning at Madrid and Juventus. Great stuff, the treble still in play,

My only concern is that this team is going to get gutted in the off season.
