Dogs cannot stop the Darce choke but oddly enough are good at defending the bulldog choke

I wonder if they waived IVs for Masvidal since he had to cut weight on short notice.

I’m scoring that for Masvidal. That leaning shit for 3:30 was nothing

Usman exhausted from playing top on the ground. That’s weird. He must have really been trying to put everything on those shots.

50-45 x 2. Even a fight like that the judges embarrass themselves.

I was telling my friends it depends on the judges. Usman took him down on R1 but didn’t do anything with it - in fact took more damage. But you can definitely see hiders giving it to Usman.

4-1 was correct IMO

The Kattar-Ige fight last night was entertaining, even if it lacked high end fireworks. I really like Kattar. Massachusetts dude who comes out to House of the Rising Sun and had elite striking.

Deiveson Figueiredo Is a terrifying 125 lb’er. I had a lot of fun watching that card last night.

I started binge watching Kingdom recently, based on a recommendation in the Omar Netflix thread. I really like it, but I had a question about one of the scenes.

In S02E09, they show the team getting ready in the locker room before the fight. The one team member who is their resident recreational drug / PED dealer is seen mixing a bottle of Vaseline with some sort of small stirrer. Since he's known for doing their dirty work, and mixing Vaseline isn't something you see done every day, I'm assuming that he's doing something illegal to give them an advantage somehow, but I can't figure out what it is he's putting in there. Perhaps a local anesthetic creme? Any ideas?

Maybe @Marciano490 knows. I'd expect whatever it is to be relevant to boxing as well.

Hate to see Shogun still fighting. In his prime he was one of my favorite guys.

Rogerio is old too, that’s true. Believe he is Lil Nog, Rodrigo is Big Nog.

I started this late and am catching up. I do not like this booth. I don’t mind Felder, Hardy is a little annoying, the non fighter guy is a zero.

Antigulov could have gotten out of that triangle a couple of times but his own hubris got his ass strangled. Beautiful work from Craig.

edit: okay, I rewatched. Craig only really gave Angigulov one chance to escape and he missed it. Man that was nice.

Werdum is a weird case. Was making a case for the greatest heavyweight ever before he got torched by Stipe in Brazil and never really recovered. The only fight I remember him looking good since then was against Travis Browne
