Uploading iphone videos to youtube

Hey all,

I've recorded a bunch of stuff on my iphone that I'd like to upload to my personal youtube account. I keep running into trouble with conversions, where they play fine on my system but fail to upload to youtube properly.

Any advice on how to do the conversion right? As of now I'm using VLC to restream and convert the data directly, but the audio/video codecs don't seem to work on youtube.

Are you using the YouTube ios app for the upload? I’ve done that and it was insanely easy and worked fine.
