Wouldn't shock me if NFL sent Jones a notice to submit to a "random" PED test as soon as it got a whiff of this. I could be wrong, but think amphetamines clear your system within a day or two, at least with urine tests. So unless he's already been tested this week, he should be in the clear when it comes to any Adderall he may (or may not) have taken over the weekend.
Based on past suspensions, it's unlikely we'd be made aware of a positive PED test for weeks anyway, well after the season's over - player gets to appeal results, has hearing, NFLPA demands secondary tests/analysis, etc etc before suspension is actually executed/announced.
Stimulants like Adderall, Ritalin, etc. can be taken if prescribed by a doctor AND clearance is obtained from the NFL in advance. There's been several players who claimed to have been prescribed Adderall, yet still had their suspensions upheld because they failed to obtain NFL clearance beforehand.
