I think the bigger issue is I get the impression a lot of "Patriots" fans started following them in 2001, so they are more "Brady" fans than "Patriots" fans, so he leaves and they still follow and root for him, he's the only QB they ever knew.

I've been a fan since 1968, so I'm more of a fan of the team than I am of any one player.

As many of you said, to each his own.

Ok, enough said about this; is it October 3rd yet?
Look, anyone who would root for Brady against the Pats is a Brady fan, not a Pats fan, that I don’t get. I dont go as far back as you but I remember the lean years all too well. To each his own and all, but Tom Brady gave me 20 years of being able to have legit Super Bowl expectations every year, including six they actually won, after years of watching a joke franchise in a joke stadium. It’s so far beyond anything I ever could have dreamt of, and he (along wit’s BB) were the principle architects, I just cannot imagine rooting against him, except against the Pats.

I mean if he went to the Jets or something that’s a tougher call. And indifference I get as well, not rooting for him but not really caring. But actively rooting against him on an NFC team that has no history with the Pats is just so bizarre to me. Without Tom Brady we don’t have six Lombardis. We might not have any.

Anyway, I hope he throws six picks on Oct 3 but other than that go Tom.

Pitt is winning in-spite of Ben - defense has been great. Or more hopefully, the Bills are not that good

Well said.

I'm not rooting against him.

I just don't care.

And yes, as a fan, I went from just being happy they made it to a Super Bowl to being overwhelmed that they won 6 (so far..................;)...........).

I was 3 when the patriots won their first super bowl and until last year Brady is the only qb I’ve seen start for the Patriots. I’ll be in absolute pain rooting against him when he plays the pats, but I have to. Other than that, go Brady. And if the Pats don’t win it all, I will always hope he does

By posting you don't care, it's indicative of the fact that you care. If you didn't care, you wouldn't even bother making any comments.

The opposite of love isn't apathy.

Nothing like watching a Bills team getting beaten at home on opening day with all the expectations on them this year

The Steelers just scored again.

Blocked punt, 20-0 run vs the Bills.

I care about that.................;)................

Like, you can't risk the time out, you have Dalvin Cook, the ball was first and goal on the half yard line.

Instead, you lose the challenge, lost the time out, and Cook scores on the next play anyway.

Why are coaches so fucking stupid?

There's a ton of Steelers fans there.

Their fans travel as well as any fan base in the NFL, maybe them and Dallas top two?
I'd say so, those fans travel in good and bad times. Pats fans are top ten but don't challenge those 2, probably more due to wasting our favors to family to travel to big games during the first like 10 years of the dynasty(!)

Giants and the bay area teams (49ers and Raiders) fans can be big travelers but only on a fairweather basis it seems.

Why isn't that a flag on the Bills defender for jumping on Ben after he slid? It wasn't a timing thing at all the defender just decided to pile on.
