Look at that Dallas o-line move in front of that screen to Elliot ...

Are 49ers fans rooting for the return of Jim Tomsula yet? Chip's team is just awful in every way.
Tomsula buried himself for good with his introductory press conference. Dumbest (at least sounding) football coach ever. Of course, they couldn't fire him right away and gave him a whole season.

I'm not sure how much of this train wreck is Kelly's doing, and how much is the bill coming due for long-term FO/ownership incompetence, but Chip certainly isn't covering himself in glory.
You're right, it's not Kelly's fault he's stuck with a mess at QB, only one decent skill player in Hyde, and a defense that didn't have much talent to start with and is riddled with injuries.

I feel like Kapernick could have been good in the right situation.

Larry Fitzgerald is going to end the year #3 all time in receptions. He only needed 29 more coming into this game to pass Owens, Brown, Carter and Harrison.

Then he'll be 3 seasons away from #2.

He'd already be there if they'd traded him for Mallett

Would you say he's a bit of an under the radar all time great?
I don't know, I feel like he is properly appreciated right now. The real under the radar guy is Andre Johnson, who put up generally comparable numbers while having his best QB (by far) during his prime being Matt Schaub.

Wait a minute. A controversial call (or two - on the same play!) went in Denver's favor? What?

Well, those are words I never thought I would ever hear.

Absolutely, the guy just shows up and works hard. You never hear a bad word about him. And he's just so consistently great.
Yes, a lot of his "fraternity brother" wide receivers have the primary donna, gotta have the ball more attitude. Never hear about that from Larry. Sure wish he'd gotten that ring in SB 43.

Like 7 plays inside the five yard line, and San Diego runs it once, on the first play. Drive ends with a pick in the end zone. Melvin Gordon has 11 TD's on the season, and they don't just line up in the I formation and pound it in. Even the one running play was a shotgun snap, no lead blocker, etc. Meanwhile, Dallas can run at will, and yet, they keep dropping Dak back, and he gets sacked. Arizona just isn't even trying to run the ball with David Johnson. These teams with great running backs, who don't use them, will never cease to amaze me.

Apropos as the Seahawks and Patriots meet tonight

Does Aryans not know that San Francisco has a historically bad run defense? Jesus. A pick for Palmer, after yet another possession in which they didn't even try to run the ball.

The Cowboys are not only Super Bowl worthy, but also quite capable of winning it. That depends substantially on giving Dak the whole season under center. We'll see soon enough whether Jerry Jones is capable of not fucking this up, or whether Stephen can impose his will.

Larry Fitzgerald complained (rightfully) about the ball spot on a catch he made and the refs actually moved it forward, in his favor. Eighth wonder of the world.

Does this SF team have a single superstar player?

I mean, almost every team has one or two top tier talents even if the team is hot garbage.
