Probably short but that doesn't take away the fact the ref spotted it a yard short from where Ertz and the ball ended up.

Ha, yeah, I mean, they should just chip the balls and markers but won’t.
Isn’t the ball almost a foot long? A chip would help correct obviously bad calls but wouldn’t help much on truly close calls.

It's just the VAR from tennis and soccer. Run the video in super slo-mo until the player is down and mark the ball with a 90 degree sideline angle. With any portion of the ball showing, you could trace/project where the rest of it would be. It would take an investment given the number of places on the field that would need to be mapped, but it's technologically feasible. Or just keeping winging it 8 yards behind the play at an off angle like we just saw :)

Agree with the anti 72 Fins sentiment, but it ain’t happening.
the refs kept a kc drave avile in the first haif called tick tack sutff the key is can denver block that 1 play out if they can they will get the 6-7 seed if not they will miss the playoffs if KC keeps playing like the last 2 weeks they will lose in div round

For the most part, the officials mark the ball at the nearest half-yard line, recognizing that they’re kidding themselves if they think they can consistently do better than that. A chip would fix mistakes in that regard. I’m skeptical it would be conclusive to a +/- 6 inches level in the middle of a scrum. It’s not a bad idea, but with cameras on the pylons already, it’s probably not one of the first 3-4 ideas I’d implement to improve NFL officiating.

Looked like the tackler gave him a Heimlich.
After benching him last week for attitude, you don't go right back to giving him goalline carries. First off, he's washed. Second, what does that teach Zeke? Being a bad teammate doesn't matter.

Oh well. No dog in this fight, because watching Dallas suffer is enjoyable to me.

Cooper Rush is not an NFL QB. I don't know how he is still employed by an NFL team...
