So as a Patriots fan I suppose I want -

Bears over Ravens
Colts over Bills
Lions over Browns
Texans over Titans
Bengals/Raiders both 5-4 so kind of a wash
Cowboys over Chiefs
Chargers (5-4, Pats have tiebreaker) over Steelers (5-3-1) but that's a close call.

ED: Broncos (5-5) Bye

Obviously not all of these will happen, but a few of them definitely could.

As an aside, I love NFL Sundays after the Pats win on Thursday night, just rooting against all of their competition. So we need the Pats to win Thursday night first before we can enjoy this.

This. Such an enjoyable NFL Sunday after a Pats win on Thursday night then rooting against all their competition. Let's first take care of business Thursday night.

Lamar is sick (not COVID) and is apparently 50/50 to play today.
Lamar is always sick. You never hear about athletes who are constantly ill for a variety of reasons. But Lamar is constantly dealing with some kind of illness.

You would think a guy like him with an immune system of the bubble boy would want to get the vaccine. You would be wrong.

No Pats today is a bummer, but Indy @ Bills and then Dallas @ KC for TV games in the NE market is about as good of an alternative as it gets.

Its very strange, I’ve taught college students for years and now have young kids plus coach a kids program and a young athlete in his prime is always way sicker way more often than I am? WTF is this guy doing? I know some people that always seem like they’re sick but there is no mystery as to why.

I wonder if Lamar sleeps enough.

Oh, I didn’t open this thread to talk illness, I almost forgot, the Jets are finally benching their awful RG for a guy that hasn’t played in two years. Going with the Canadian Doctor they got from the Chiefs. Wonder if Flacco will get his career ended today or if the Doc will be serviceable.

He may just have a chronic medical condition.

I'm not sure being in shape keeps you from catching a virus.

Who do I root for in the jets-Dolphins game?

If Jets give up 40 to Dolphins I will start taking harder drugs.

That’s all I want, don’t give up forty. Actually, 2 things. Don’t give up forty, don’t get shut out.

I would think being young and in shape would correlate with general health but sure, not a one to one correlation (not genetic disease of course). It’s more of a curiosity to me as I don’t recall something like this.

Weak call by SF. Long ass drive and they come up with 3 from the 2 yard line.

Allen really tried to jam that ball in there.

Good on Reich for accepting that third down hold, some coaches would decline it and live with the long FGA.

Minnesota just challenged a Jefferson catch ruled down at the GB 1 for a first and goal.

Not sure why they’re so confident the ball crossed the plane before his knee was down, but why burn a challenge in the first half given the high odds you’ll score anyway?

I haven't followed the Colts at all, but Wentz looks better than serviceable so far in this game. And man do I feel dirty rooting for the Colts.

I was way more sicker when I was younger. Could be a product of dorm living/living on campus/classroom contact. Essentially germ factories. Late 30’s here and I haven’t even gotten the sniffles in at least 2 years.

God I wish NE had drafted Deebo. He is the Platonic ideal of the “gadget” receiver. There’s nothing he can’t do, when healthy of course.

Last two years is a weird sample tho because of wearing masks everywhere and sanitizing so often
