could still fake it or screw up the snap
Looked it up and apparently there hasn’t been a fumbled snap on a kneel. Fake is still valid. Then again, guys have thrown wild pitches or given up hits on IBBs, so I’m still opposed to that being automatic

I mean, how many times has that happened? The Herm Edwards return in the Meadowlands doesn’t count because it wasn’t a kneel, the dipshit QB ran into the line and fumbled.

I can’t recall seeing or hearing of an aborted snap on a kneel down in the NFL.

Did they ever get rid of the dumb rule that you have to line up to kick the extra point on a walk off TD in regulation?

Can anyone fill me in on ‘flex’ rules? Is the Pats v Titans flexible to SNF? I don’t know the details.

Fire Carroll? Not what the team will, but is that what you want?
Absolutely, get his fucking ass out now. He won't fire Norton, who is the worst coordinator in the NFL on either side of the ball. And he continually meddles in the offense when he doesn't know jack shit about it. And the team doesn't buy into the rah-rah shit anymore, so it's time for a change. Thanks for the Super Bowl and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

Yes, I know it won't happen.

The date already past where they had to make that decision. It was last week.
The Pats-Colts game currently has a time of TBD but flexing Saints-Bucs seems unlikely. They are for sure not flexing out any NFC East game.

The Seahawks are the poster children for the draft is a crapshoot. Schneider's drafts built their Super Bowl-winning roster and his recent drafts and trades are driving them off the cliff. I can't believe they have him signed until 2027.

If they get rid of Carroll (who has complete roster control), we would see if the problem was Schneider or Carroll. At this point, I think it's worth trying. They won't be able to make this team into any kind of contender again until they bite the bullet and move on.

Remind me again why the Patriots can’t wear their throwbacks anymore.
They can, but they'd have to use the silver shells with the Pat Patriot era stripes and logo because of the current equipment rules. I believe they've changed the rules to allow alternate helmets starting next year.

The Giants don't have that problem since both eras used blue helmets, although the 80s era helmets were a darker blue.

Thanks. I remember it being helmet-related but I thought I had seen other teams with different colors. But, to your point, maybe the base color was the same. And the Bucs sure aren’t in their old orange.

Tom still gets more fired up when he runs for a first down or a touchdown than when he does anything else. Dates all the way back to the Snow Bowl.
