California. Duh.
Have we complained about these Wolves kits yet?

Is this the worst kit year in recent memory? Two awful ones on the pitch right now. Across the league there are some serious head scratchers w it h very few memorably standouts (Southampton bucking the trend).

I was happy to see Spurs and the Gunners in their traditional kits together. It’s a great look for a Derby.
Do kit manufacturers require teams to wear the away kits a certain number of times? Clearly there was no clash between the standard Liverpool and Wolves colors.

The Man United zebra stripes away kit is pretty terrible.

That Liverpool-Spurs fixture coming up in 10 days' time is looking pretty tasty. Both clubs have classic trap games next weekend away to lower-table opposition (Spurs at Palace, Pool at Fulham).

My assumption based on what I’ve seen this year is that away kits are now simply away kits. The days of “alternate” are gone. It seems rare to see a primary it away from home. Arsenal were one of the forerunners of the trend so it’s interesting they bucked it in a high profile fixture.

The kid in goal looks solid. Cool under pressure. Makes good decisions.
He’s good, but he has mistakes in him. Totally understandable and forgivable at his age.

He was about six inches away from looking like a kid on one of the crosses earlier. He tipped it just over a pair of Wolves players. He was praised by the commentary, but it was a bad play on the ball. On a different day, a gust of wind would have left him flapping. Those aren’t chances you can take.

Nelson Semedo has lost by a combined 8-0 on his last 2 trips to Anfield.

(He was in the Barca side that visited for the CL semifinal).

If there are two unopposed Wolves players what was the better move?
He misjudged his interception. Going for the ball was correct but he misread the flight. He had plenty of room deeper to get a positive fist and potentially even catch.

She was there at half time, it seems weird she wouldn't stick around for full time (If she wasn't scheduled to work the whole day you would think they would switch between matches).

There are a lot fewer flights these days, but not sure if that is the reason why.

Flight availability isn’t what it used to be. It may have been her only chance to kiss her kids goodnight.

It's just strange that they come back and don't acknowledge she's left at all. I guess they figure it's just Peacock.

I’ve seen them make it clear when on NBCSC that she’s fine, no concerns, but wouldn’t be joining. “Just Peacock” might be right on the money.

FWIW both Palace and Fulham look improved. Fulham is quietly righting the ship I think. Yank Antonee Robinson is getting a run and looks ok, as does former Everton and RB Leipzig property Amendola Lookman

Folks,

I want to publically apologize. I used some inappropriate, insensitive language earlier. @Zomp saved my blushes. I don’t mind being the angry, childish, Lewis Black character that everybody pities, but I don’t want to cross the line into being offensive.

Thanks to our fearless leader for putting me back in line and apologies to the football family I offended.

Fuck Inter and ManU,
Rob

has to watch the Liverpool match late...such a relief to see them play so well. TAA looked great and The Captain reminded everyone why he was last year’s player of the season. It’s gonna be such a grind for the next month.

Well I'm certainly not looking forward to the game thread next Wednesday, that is for sure.

Controversial late penalty costs Brighton points... Coote was the official and didn't even go over to the monitor on what I thought was a questionable VAR decision.

Things you hate to see...
